my moral standing is lying down

Cake is playing 12/12 and 12/13 at Terminal 5 (56th St & 11th Ave). Doors open 6:30pm.

Tickets are $37.50.

I know there's a Barcade thing happening on the 12th (Wednesday), so if anyone's interested in going on the 13th (Thursday), please let me know. Liz wanted to go, so barring any unforeseen circumstances, we're definitely going.

In other news, maybe the "baked" part-- my mp3 player doesn't work. There was no lead-up or warning, so I'm not sure what's wrong. On Sunday I loaded some music on it, unplugged it from the computer, then put it in my bag. When I tried to listen to it a couple hours later, it wouldn't turn on and I assumed it was because the battery died, but now my computer still won't recognize it when I plug it in. I have to find the wall charger and see if that'll wake it up. Otherwise I'll have to contact Creative and have it looked at. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a removable battery, so I can't even pop it out and put it back in. And the reset button does nothing. At least it's still under warranty. >_<;

This is really quite annoying because I miss having music on the train. Argh!
