So yeah, I'm.... going to Indonesia tomorrow. For six weeks. HOW WEIRD IS THAT, GUYS? I'm still sort of... I don't think it's actually set in? It probably won't til I arrive in the Jakarta airport, ahahaha. And besides that I can't wait to visit starafar in Singapore! HOW IS THIS EVEN MY LIFE?!

I'm showing my room to a friend of a friend in like, an hour, to see if she's interested in renting it for the rest of September. I'm seriously crossing my fingers on this because any little bit is going to help me pay my rent!

And randomly, a fic rec-- I'm in the middle of this awesome transgender!Merlin fic that's 93k words long and I'm just about done with the first third of. It's great. It's so great. I was trying to save it for the 16-hour flight... plus the three-hour layover in Hong Kong... plus the 5-hour flight from Hong Kong to Jakarta... but I just couldn't help myself.

day 10 - write all the websites you keep up with

These are the social networking/media sites I check daily or close to daily. I also get daily digest emails from Feministe and Clarisse Thorn, but I forgot to write those in before I took the picture. ^^; I get a lot of my (fannish as well as real-life) news via twitter, so there's no real need for me to check news sites daily.

day 11 - write your name using the opposite hand you normally use

For a while I started practising more often with my left hand and my handwriting started to look a little better, but I didn't have time to keep it up and it's back to being crappy again. Have I mentioned how I actually started out using my left hand to write when I was little, but my mom made me switch to my right hand? I don't blame her, things are easier for right-handed people with regards to school books and such, but I do wish she'd been able to teach me to use both so that I could be ambidextrous.

This one isn't that exciting... my tumblr (and lj, twitter, email) name is clearly derivative of my real name. I meant to write out my old name (koyasunomiko) just for variety, but I totally forgot. Oh well. Appropriate for a lazy Saturday post anyway.
