So, Sharon JUST TOLD ME THAT SEKI TOMOKAZU IS COMING TO OTAKON! OMG! Oh. My. God. OMG. alskjflahsdfljas;le!!!
It's really weird because a couple of months ago, I remarked that he'd gone to Anime Expo twice and wouldn't it be awesome if he'd come to Otakon? AND NOW HE IS. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
And there goes a big chunk of my day because I'll have to stand in a freaking 5-mile line for 5 hours just to get a 1-minute autograph.
BUT OH MY GOD.
;_;

Sasuga Koyasu-sama~
Apr. 8th, 2007 02:33 amHaha, finally got up to Koyasu's part in SaiMono! It's his usual smooth and sparkly role. He's really damn seductive in this role (I haven't seen him in much lately, and it's really nice to hear him like this) -- and I can't fault Shuurei for being under his spell. It is Koyasu, after all. <3!
I need to find some hot ShuureixRyuuki and/or ShuureixSakujun smut. =D
Just finished ep 29.

Just finished ep 29.
The countdown begins.
Dec. 13th, 2001 12:34 pmWell, I changed the earrings in my 2nd holes; now they're small silver hoops with little balls. They're cute. And I moved the star studs into my 3rd holes, so I kind of look back to normal, instead of slightly slanted. =) Also, since I changed my earrings, neither ears have hurt at all! That's kakkoii! I'm so relieved!
Tonikaku.
My temporary UNDP office job is coming to an end. My last day is next Thursday, but since Monday is a UN holiday, it's going to be a short work week, for me at least. It's felt very.... transitional... or temporary. I mean, I have been coming here every 4 days out of a 5-day work week, for the last 7 weeks, but it still feels like I just started yesterday, and already I'm being booted out. And in the grand scheme of things ::snicker:: I guess that's about accurate.
But it's going to be very nice not to have to go to work every day for a while, even if I am going back to school in February.
But enough of this introspective crap, anyway.
I'm *so* happy 'cause last night I finally had the chance to watch some anime! I've been trying to all week, but either the TVs or VCRs were being used, or I was just too plain tired (read: dead) to pay attention, or even to stay up any longer. And on Saturday I got the next volumes of Fruit Basket and Angelic Layer (I'm obviously on a weird shoujo kick lately). So I saw the Angelic Layer tape last night (eps. 16-18), which was VERY good! It had a part in episode 17 where the Deuses were competing over something and so in order to decide the winner, they had their Angels fight in the ring-thing (I forgot what it's called). So, the Deuses -- completely out of the blue, with no warning -- did Jan, Ken, Pon and inside the ring, the winning Deus's Angel ran for the squeaky hammer and the losing Deus's Angel ran for the bowl, but the squeaky-hammer-Angel won! Note: If you've seen the seiyuu "interviews" at the end of the Weiß Kreuz tapes, you'll get the idea.
It made me hysterical with laughter! Kawaii!
Then, I watched Fruit Basket, and although the huge shoujo eyes are killing me, the characters are really kawaii and funny! I love Shigure-san (the Inu, played by Okiayu Ryoutarou, the Shota King) and Kyou-kun (the Neko-san, played by Seki Tomokazu) is just too adorable (read: growly, pouty and defensive), like a cross between Sano from Rurouni Kenshin, Keisuke from Initial D, and Kouji from Fushigi Yuugi.
So I was just very happy about being able to see those. But I still want to try and finish seeing Noir. Although nothing too exciting has happened yet, it does have me intrigued and so I'd like to watch it through, especially considering I actually have all of it.
Well, off to lunch.

Does Midorikawa like YAOI?
Aug. 23rd, 2001 02:06 amTHAT is the question.
The answer is... who knows? Who cares? I don’t need Midorikawa-san to like it in order to revel in it myself, ne? (::cups hands around mouth and yells:: 2x1 RULES!!!! ::stops and clears throat::)
Mochiron.
Anyway… Hikaru-san’s (oh, don’t mind me, I’m going to be switching from last name to first name to -san to -sama at will… no offense intended, just me being lazy… besides it’s MY journal!) panel at Otakon was great. It was awesome hearing him speak in person… that voice straight out of some of my… oddest… dreams, not to mention my favorite anime. =D His sound effects were cool, and it was definitely sugoi to hear him do some of his chara’s voices. It was so exciting.
One of my favorite parts was when someone asked who his closest friend in the seiyuu world was and he answered that it was Okiayu Ryoutarou! (Of course, I knew it all along. I don’t know how it could be anyone else… they have done countless anime together, they were in E.M.U. together…. what more do you need in the way of evidence?) The other part I died over was when someone asked about Koyasu Takehito. (If you’ve been paying attention ::points finger up to LJ user ID:: you’d realize that I *love* Koyasu.) I forget just what the question was, but his answer was that Koyasu was a very odd person. LOL. That’s me, forever destined to fall for ‘odd’ people. Oh yes, I remember the question now… it was… damn, I forgot it again. Whatever. Oh yes! It was about a quote from a magazine! Koyasu had apparently said something about Midorikawa… damn, I lost it again. Maybe if I remember for real, I’ll post it. Anyway, the answer was about Koyasu being a very odd person, thinking that Midorikawa-san’s voice is "cute" (LOL) and always hanging about him… Hikaru said something about how when they’d finish saying their lines, Koyasu would come up behind him and whisper into his ear about how he loved Hikaru’s "cute little voice." God, I died over that. If Koyasu had made an appearance at Otakon I think I would have DIED. I really don’t know how I would have survived the fact that might heart would probably beat right out of my chest. I dunno… I probably would’ve come back to life just to get a glimpse of him. That bastard. But what I meant to say was that having Hikaru talk about him was doing a pretty good job of killing me all by itself. It somehow made Koyasu more real… he really is a person and not just a figment of the collective over-active imaginations of millions of fangirls across the country! My life has been validated! I can die happy now! Oh, except that I haven’t met him yet. I guess then I’ll be able to die happy. With things like that running through my mind at faster-than-light-speed, it’s a wonder I even got past that first mention of Koyasu from Hikaru’s lips…
But I did; I survived to hear that Koyasu is obviously the perverted YAOI hentai I’d always believed him to be! Another round of My life has been validated! ran through my mind. Even now, whenever I think about it, it tickles me to know that he’s even more of a freak than I had originally suspected/hoped. That bastard. Why can’t he live somewhere a little more accessible? Or at least make a visit to the states where I’d be able to see him… have him sign something of mine… you know, one of the five hundred CDs of his that I have because I’m obsessed, but don’t understand more than 5 words of…?
That bastard.
Whoa. When did this become a Koyasu rant? ::drags self back on-topic::
Well, as I wrote to someone over email, this is what happened with the whole Hikaru signing thing (as in, the autograph session?):
Hikaru-sama’s sig on Heero’s bare ass!
(Once again, right-click & open in new window ‘cause geocities is hidoi!)
((more to come soon? maybe less ranting? want some cosplay photos?))

Whoa. When did this become a Koyasu rant? ::drags self back on-topic::
Well, as I wrote to someone over email, this is what happened with the whole Hikaru signing thing (as in, the autograph session?):
It all started a few weeks ago when I was about to bid on a 2x1 doujinshi that was up for auction on ebay. Just before placing my bid I looked at the high-bidder's ID and realized that it was one of my online friends who was high bidder. So I decided not to outbid her... and emailed her to let her know that I couldn't POSSIBLY outbid her knowing that I knew her. Well, Sharon won that particular dj. A week or two later she emailed me back saying that she ended up getting an extra copy of the same dj, so we'd simply HAVE to meet at Otakon so that she could give me the extra copy as a gift. (Isn't that sweet?)
In any case, we met at Otakon, she gifted me with a beautiful 2x1 hentai yaoi doujinshi with Heero in a frilly pink apron/dress with his butt-cheeks sticking out. ^_~ Well, if you were there, you'd know that eventually, the Otakon staff had us down to one item each to be signed by Midorikawa-san. Well, there was someone on line who was just waiting with his friend (fig-chan!), so I asked him if he could get my magazine (Seiyuu Grand Prix) signed by Hikaru and he so kindly agreed, so that was taken care of. What I had left with me to decide between was the hentai dj or a very nice GW/Heero shitajiki (the one with him alone, with the earth in the background).
I really wanted that dj signed, but I was WAAAAY too shy/embarrassed/chicken-shit to ask him to sign it, so my very bold/brave/shameless/Hikaru-worshipping best friend traded items with me. She had my yaoi dj signed and I had her Tamahome cel signed.
So, we finally got up to the table where he was signing and she put the dj down on the table in front of him and he leaned down as if to sign it, then actually SAW what was in front of him, jerked back in reaction, hesitated, giggled a little, said "Sugoi na!" and then leaned down to sign it right on Heero's ass! I was CRACKING UP the whole time! ::snicker:: There was a Japanese woman with him at the table, along with the translator from the panel earlier in the day. I don't know if that was his wife or not, but she was cracking up too. =D
Hikaru-sama’s sig on Heero’s bare ass!

Ogenki desu ka?
Jun. 7th, 2001 11:48 pmI dunno why, but I feel genki right now! Oh! I think I know why! I re-dyed my hair. Originally it was "Coral Red" then I put some "Hot Lava" over it 'cause it wasn't dark enough. But that was a few (2?) months ago. So, just recently it was kind of orange. So tonight I finally re-dyed it the "Hot Lava" color. ^_~
I should be sleeping now 'cause I have to wake up at 6 am to get to work tomorrow morning! (But I'm not; I'm so bad!) But you know... woulda, shoulda, coulda...
Tonikaku... got a good deal on tapes today. All due to the fact that I broke my headphones. (Damn things are always breaking like the bastards they are.) But anyway... since I broke my headphones I went into one of the many electronics stores on Canal Street and found out that the TDK Premium Quality blank VHS tapes were only $1.40 each. So I bought a box of 10. I know where I'll be getting my blank VHS tapes from now on. It really cheered me up considering Tony didn't have my VHS copies of Angelica's DVDs ready yet. (Sheesh! The nerve!) Oh and I got another pair of headphones for $16.99 instead of the $19.99 they are everywhere else.
I'm a sucker for a sale. (No comments out of YOU, miss!)
And Louie's coming to visit me at work tomorrow. Isn't she sweet?! Of course, she's dropping off the Das Tour tapes, which means I have to lug them home. But I guess there are worse things I could be lugging home.
I dare someone to think of some. ^_~
Anyway... I guess that's my long monologue/explanation thingy about why I'm feeling genki right now. o.O*
Ja mata ne!

Well, last night Heero decided to hold a gun to my head and say "Write, bitch." So, I wrote. Didn't get very far before falling asleep, but at least it's a start. We'll see where it goes.
Anyway... today I had lots of fun. Of course, "fun" these days seems to include spending money I don't have on stuff I don't need. Ain't it grand? Last week I bought myself two seiyuu magazines because I'm weak when it comes to Koyasu-sama and Miki-kun. Today it was because I'm weak when it comes to Seki Toshihiko. -_-;
I bought the first CD (of four) of the Fushigi Yuugi drama CDs published by Flower Comics, before the anime came out. That means they have a whole different cast. Can you imagine Toshihiko as Tamahome?! It's weird, and yet... kawaii!!! Another one is Orikasa Ai (Quatre from Gundam Wing) as Nuriko (I think) and Yamaguchi Kappei (Katsumi from Zetsuai 1989) as Chichiri! (Haven't heard that one yet, but I'm looking forward to it -- I have CDs 2-4 on hold 'cause I didn't have enough $$$ with me to buy all four at the time.)
Which means tomorrow I get to go back and buy another one or two (depending on if I get any money in the mail -- ebay bidders please send your payments! I need them!).
Hmm... what else... oh! I forgot to bring the X notebook for Louie, although I'll prolly see her tomorrow and give it to her then. Hopefully, she hasn't read this yet and it'll be a surprise. ^_~
AND I had my ass trounced at the GW RPG card game tonight by Angelica. She's positively evil. ::sigh::
Well, in closing, I think it's time for (drumroll, please...)
SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION!!!
(Oh, stop that glaring Angelica... it's not as if anyone but you and Louie read this anyway!)
