Sooo.... my throat is all sorts of fucked up. You know that talking louder thing that happens when you get drunk? Well, I don't know if I was screaming or what, exactly, but I'm all squeaky and whispery when I talk. It's actually pretty hilarious as I keep forgetting and then suddenly laugh or try to say something to my roomie and it comes out silent for a second or two before my voice squeakily kicks in. SRS LOLZ PEOPLE.

Completely unrelatedly, Rian Johnson's tumblr for his new movie, Looper posted a pic of JGL, Noah Segan, and Lukas Haas!!! BRICK REUNION IN NOLA!!!! This made me all sorts of *flail* and happy because you guys may or may not know how much I love Brick!

By Marikaart, who is on devitantart and also some of whose other art I HAVE ALREADY FAVORITED. (Conclusion: OMG I AM DUMB.) BUT ANYWAY JFC IT IS SOOO PRETTYYYYYY. Their expressions, the realism, their eyes. OMFG ARTHUR'S EYES. They're just burning a hole straight through to my [redacted].

1. paperflower86's bigbang fanart to go along with jibrailis's amazingly wonderful Cartography for Amateurs. I love paperflower's style -- how she can make something flirty or humorous with what seems like a simple, throwaway gesture -- and I love what scenes/ideas she chose to illustrate in this story. JSYK, there are spoilers for the story in the fanart link.
   
   
2. paperflower86's papercut of Arthur and Eames. THIS IS JUST AJSDLFJASLDFJKLSDFJ AMAZING AND GORGEOUS. I cannot help but be impressed whenever it's clear that choices had to be made in order to preserve the minimalism of a piece. So lovely. I'd love to actually be able to put this up on the patio doors in my bedroom; I get late afternoon sun and having the shadows of Arthur, Eames, and the maze stretching through my room would make me so happy!
   
   
3. fanlay's bigbang fanart to go along with lmeden's lovely atmospheric A Brighter Thing. The images are not particularly spoilery without knowing what the story is about, but if you choose to read the fic you will not be disappointed!!! As always I am just in love with fanlay's style -- the movement, the perspective, the colors, the shadows. Her three noir pieces from late last year totally blew my mind and somehow this (her first noir piece) has been the background on my phone since she posted it. <333
   
   
4. shiroi_ten's fanart of delires's chav!Eames. I loved the flat textures in this one because it was such a sudden flashback to the Zetsuai 1989 manga/doujinshi art by Minami Ozaki. It's been a long long time since I thought of Koji and Izumi but they will always have a huge spot in my heart -- Koji is the ultimate fucked up, obsessive, aggressive, will-resort-to-dubcon top and I love him unashamedly. Plus, he has been voiced by the sexiest voice I've ever heard.

Um, yeah. That's all I've got for now. I'm supposed to be posting my Sex Is Not the Enemy fic today, but I don't think I'll be able to until later. IT HAS BEEN GIVING ME ALL SORTS OF TROUBLE. =/

ETA: I just saw that paperflower86 is selling her papercuts. I made this post about 12 hours after she'd posted her sale and didn't know about it til now. AND AND AND the Arthur/Eames papercut I love hadn't been claimed. WELL IT IS NOW. IT IS CLEARLY THE UNIVERSE'S VALENTINES DAY PRESENT TO ME.

So my friend lives in New Orleans, and by some magical coincidence happened to be at the bar they were at last night. She called me so she could freak out about how JGL is really beautiful in person. And I found this picture earlier and sent it to her, so she had to call me and freak out again.
