It is actualfax the best thing EVAR. I-- I can't get enough of it. I cry internally at the thought that there might not be more; that one day she'll slip out of the hooks in which Inception fandom currently has her ensnared. HER WRITING IS FUCKING AMAZING, GUYS. FUCKING AMAZING!
When I stumbled into C6D fandom, I came across a fandom discussion over established relationship vs. first-time fic. Overwhelmingly, it seems, preference lies with first-time fic. And I can totally understand that tendency. I feel like first-time fic is easier to do well; there are certain road markers that are kind of failsafes. But established relationship -- when it's done well, it shines. It gives me the worst sort of heart-clenchingly hopeful feeling (the kind that I hate admitting to). And while we're on that subject, here are two other series that do the same, in my two other favorite fandoms:
GUYS, DO YOU REMEMBER (the former) LYS AP ADIN'S Mission Suburbia (1x2, Gundam Wing) domestic!verse series? THIS IS KIND OF LIKE THAT, OH GOD. [ETA: OMFG THIS IS 10 YEARS OLD. JFC, I've been in and out of fandoms for a loooooong time.]
And last, but in no way, shape, or form least; my favorite domestic 'verse series in the only other fandom in which I write: C6D, of course. I suppose the first fic in the 'verse is a first-time fic since Mike (Sweeney of Durham County) and Ray (Kowalski of due South) get together in the beginning but most of it takes place after that and is very domestic.

The awesome thing about established relationship fic is that there are still so many firsts to be had.
