Stolen Anime!

I had this all written out and the IE ate it. Bastard.

I took my beloved 160g external harddrive over to Angelica's house last night and stole all her anime!

Well, okay, not all. But I did get a goodly amount of anime that I was interested in. I got some of the latest episodes of Bleach and Wild Striker, so I'm very happy that I can continue watching these series now.

Last weekend, I had an urge to see the end of Whistle! again, so I did. But that kind of got me in the mood to see more of Wild Striker. I'm either on episode 33 or 34, but the rest of the episodes I had on the disc (up to 37) were corrupt! =( So now I have from 37 to whatever the latest release was, but I'm going to have to go and find 33-37. Angelica did a quick search and found a batch of 25-36, which I suppose I'll have to try and download this weekend.

I also now have ParaKiss and Genshiken, which I'm looking forward to watching (but I have to watch Wild Striker first, 'cause I'm really back into that right now).

One of the things she didn't have that I do want to see is Honey and Clover, so I'll have to look for that as well.

Oh! And I found those Naruto discs that suzume_sparrow sent me earlier this summer! And the Prince of Tennis that zerotwofan sent too! So those are on my to-be-watched list also! (I have a feeling neither are going to-be-watched very soon, though.)

Note to self: ask Will if I can lend FMA to Dave.

Off to Mudvayne concert very soon!

I need to watch Genshiken. I downloaded that the other day. I'm mostly interested in it because Saiga Mitsuki does one of the character voices. I most definitely have a crush on her. Well, her voice, at least. ^_^

What other characters has Saiga Mitsuki voiced?

Do you know anything that Konishi Katsuyuki (Kyo from SDK) has been in (as a relatively main chara), that you'd recommend? I do so love his voice! And, oddly enough, I really enjoy Horie Yui's voice (she played Yuuya from SDK), although that's mostly because I find her just so adorable, I had a fan-crush on her from the days when I would buy seiyuu magazines more regularly!

Unfortunately, I'm not up to snuff on the newer crowd of seiyuu 'cause I haven't been watching anime again til recently. =(

Saiga Mitsuki is Robert Haydn in Law of Ueki, and Wolfram in Kyou Kara Maou. She also played Souji Okita in Peacemaker Kurogane, and the lead character in Soutaker. It was her role as Wolfram that really made me start liking her a lot.

Konishi was Soubi in Loveless. I personally don't like that anime, but he sounds very good in it. He also played Radu in Trinity Blood, and Shouri (Yuuri's older brother) in Kyou Kara Maou. You can see the whole list of his roles here. It seems like he's mostly done supporting roles until recently.

Thanks for the link! I didn't realize Konishi played Tooya in Ceres... I might actually have to go watch that. I had started reading the manga when it was coming out, but for some reason it irritated me. I really like Watase Yuu's stories, but I often don't like the main characters and then I get all mad at what's going on. ^^

I just finished watching Loveless just now and was wondering why you didn't like it? Was it because of the shota implication (I seem to remember that you don't like shota?), or something else?

You got it on the first try. A 20 year old with a 12 year old, especially one as emotionally damaged as Ritsuka? Not my thing. Although, Soubi is hella pretty. I'd have felt differently if Ritsuka was 15 or 16. I just can't do anything that's close to shota. I'm totally okay with other people liking it. One of my closest friends adores and even writes Soubi/Ritsuka. ^_~

I understand. I think that's why I was hoping for more of the story, hoping to see an explanation of the situation. I like shota, but if the story isn't PWP to begin with, then there has to be a good-enough reason for it... or, the attraction, at least, because IRL, there wouldn't be a good-enough reason... but that's a whole 'nother can of worms. ^_~;
