Nashville, TN

I'm in Nashville, TN.
Since it was already 10pm by the time I got in a cab to go to the hotel (which was a flat rate of $22, OMG!), I haven't really seen too much of it. So far it looks much like other cities that are not Manhattan. There is a McDonald's down the road from me, so if I don't find a supermarket within walking distance (or reasonable public transportation distance), I'll at least not starve. But it is definitely a last resort.
I kind of wish I had arrived earlier in the day, so that I'd have had time to settle in a little, and explore what is in the area before jumping into starting the training at 9am tomorrow morning.
The hotel -- a Holiday Inn Express -- is pretty nice, actually. I was kind of expecting something slightly... cheap, or something, like that hotel at Yaoicon 2002. But it's cool. I have a non-smoking room with a king-size bed. The guy that checked me in said, since I'd be stayingthere here for 5 days, he put me in a room with a fridge and microwave! Yay! And, as one might be able to deduce, there's a free internet connection in the room. It is joy. =D

I'm scared.
