osarabaI don't think we woke up that early on Saturday, but I don't think it was that late either. Although I could be wrong. Obviously, it wasn't important enough for me to remember. Oh, it's coming back to me. We were getting into our Gundam Wing outfits (Angelica: Professor G, me: Dr. J, Liz: Duo, Maryann: Heero) when Josh knocked on our door and we let him in.
So Josh talked with Maryann while the rest of us got into our costumes (it was a very amusing conversation, in a ::snicker:: sort of way, but it would be too much to get into detail anyway). But basically, you could tell that Maryann was into Josh and Josh was into Maryann (oh, how cute). When we were finished getting ready, we all went downstairs. I'm pretty sure we roamed around the lobby and upper level for a while, we ran into other GW cosplayers, and took pics of some of the nicer costumes. There were quite a few FFX2 costumes, which wasn't surprising.
Angelica was annoyed at me (I'm not quite sure why), and it turned out that this con wasn't the best venue for the GW cosplay -- too many guys/game fans, not enough rabid GW fangirls -- so after a short while, we retired the docs back to their suitcases. It was unfortunate, but necessary. Besides, I was having too much fun just hanging out with people, I didn't feel like cosplaying much. Although it was pretty funny to see people's faces as they catch glimpses of us as the doctors (yes, it's pretty startling). We met up with Alex, and he and Maryann went to his room while I went to change into regular clothes. After spending a while in the game room, I went up to Alex's room and we just hung out there for a while. He was stringing and tuning his guitar to prepare for the cosplay thing -- he was going to play... something again. Not as the black chocobo, but something else. Can't remember. We split and Maryann came to the game room with me.
When the DDR tournament was over, I was standing on line for the arcade setup when Angelica came over and said she wanted to have something to eat. Well, I was determined to get another go on the arcade pads, and Yoshi was going to play with me, so no matter what I picked, I wouldn't fail 'cause he'd be able to keep the game going, and I so wanted to play some of the tracks that I didn't get to play the night before. So I said she could eat without me, but if she wanted to wait then I'd just play the one time and go eat together with everyone. So she said she'd be in the karaoke room. So Yoshi and I played, and I got to do the tracks that I wanted, in difficult (in the old version/standard in the new version), so I was so happy! We all got together after Angelica sang her song in the karaoke room (pick-a-random-song contest, which she won, and I got on video... heh heh heh), and then went to eat at a pizzeria a few blocks away.
After eating, we ended up getting together with Alex, Josh and Chris in their room while they ordered a pizza. One of Yoshi's con friends (Rachel, who's really nice) invited him up to her room for free booze. So Angelica went with Yoshi and brought some back to me and Maryann (who were still in Alex's room). The vodka and grapefruit juice tasted disgusting, but it did the trick 'cause I was feeling pretty nice. We all went down to the dance for a while and when I felt my buzz going, I got Angelica to go with me back to the booze room (lol) for something else... on exiting the dance, we ran into Joe who asked if we knew anywhere to get booze 'cause he tried to get some, but they stop selling liquor at 11pm in MA. So we took him to the booze room with us and he ended up buying a (somewhat depleted) bottle of Godiva chocolate liquor. And I persuaded Angelica to get a photo of the booze lined up on the bathroom shelf (although there was a lot more in the main room, which was even smaller than our room), as well as pour me another drink (vodka & cognac), which definitely brought the buzz back, and then some! Then we went back to the dance and got everyone to come up to Joe's room, where apparently the other guys were already.

And that's where we met Victor's friend & roommate Chris, and found out that he lives in Brooklyn, his girlfriend Carrie lives in NJ, and Victor lives in (on?) Staten Island! So, we were like, Dude! Sweet! We can all hang out together when we're back home! And Victor kept saying that we'd have to come to his summer barbeques/pool parties. Kakkoii~! It's really nice to meet people at cons that you can hang out with when you're not only at cons together. Unfortunately (especially for Maryann?) Josh and Alex live in MA, so that wouldn't be possible with them. Joe had on the Guilty Gear X2 soundtrack (really nice metal), and maybe we were a tad loud; when security came to his door and said that he couldn't have any visitors in the room, he got really pissed. He took the boombox and we all went outside to right in front of the main entrance to the hotel and they started playing hack again. ^_~ This is where Angelica gave me the silent-and-ignoring-you-treatment because I took the last few puffs of Josh's cigarette.

It was pretty chilly, but we all stayed out there until around 4, picking up two other hack players during the time we were there. No, I didn't play. For one, I've never even tried before and they were all playing pretty well together, and two, my foot was still hurting from when I hurt it a few days before the con. But since Alex was really on my case about it, I told him I'd start practising when I got back home so I could join them (hopefully at Otakon), but definitely by next Anime Boston (and as soon as Maryann gets me a hackey sack, I am going to start). After we moved into the hotel again (they played in the 2nd floor hallway), it was a lot warmer, and I got a bit sleepy. I moved to sit on one of the nearby couches and after Angelica left (around 5:30?), one of the picked-up hack players (Ed aka Scottish guy) sat down next to me and fell asleep. I dozed a bit, but woke up after a while, and we only went back to the room at around 7:15am! But OMG, it was a lot of fun and Maryann and I were positively giddy from being up so late!
I remember crawling into my spot on the floor next to Liz, fully clothed, but minus the shoes. Around 45 minutes later, I had to go to the bathroom, but there was no tissue left, so I went down to one of the public bathrooms and passed the other picked-up hack player (whose name I still don't know) laying on the couch on the 5th floor lobby by the elevators. When I got back, I laid down again, and slept maybe another 45 minutes before someone knocked on the door and I got up to open the door to Victor. I was a bit out of it so I just looked at him for a minute until he said he'd come to say goodbye because of such-and-such reason, and something about how Chris & Carrie were using the only bed in the room and didn't want him to come in. ^_~ So we hugged goodbye, but ended up seeing him a bit later anyway.
I think I pretty much stayed up after that (it was around 9 then, I think) and started to pack everything up. Checkout was at noon at this hotel, so we had to be ready to leave before then. I think we might have left the room around 11 or so, but we got stuck in the hallway for a while because everyone from Victor's room (down the hall from us) was also leaving, so I got a pic. Angelica (unbenownst to me) took a pic of me, which I think is my favorite pic of myself from the whole weekend.
We checked our bags (they charged $1 a bag, fucking ripoffs!) and hung out... somewhere. I know we were at the anime trivial pursuit game (which was pretty funny, mostly due to the host & tech guy), and I know we bumped into Alex at one point... memory is a bit fuzzy at this piont. They went into the closing ceremonies for a bit, but since they were playing the AMVs, Liz and I went downstairs for a while. When we all met up together again, we were in the lobby and Alex, Josh and Chris joined us for a self-timer group photo opportunity! I think it came out really nice except for the random white guy in the back next to Antoine who was a bastard and poked his head into the photo.

The adventures (and bad luck with the $10 bus) didn't end there, but I don't really want to remember it, much less write it out in detail.

And I think I deserve accolades for actually completing my con report this time! ^^;
