osarabaLast night was soooo much fun~! I went out with Maryann and some people we met at Anime Boston (when I post the Boston con report, you'll have to read it to figure out who the people mentioned are). It was just good old-fashioned hanging out, and it was a really good time! I would normally have written this all in the normal excruciatingly detailed way I usually do for LJ posts, but Angelica requested that I "LJ her in IM", so this is what the rest of you are getting as well.
I broke up the conversation a bit (and made alternating colors) to make it a bit easier to read 'cause I can't stand reading AIM conversations just posted as-is into LJ, I end up skipping the whole thing. ^^; (Yes, I'm anal. This is not news.)
Oh, and last warning: please excuse the squealiness of my girly descriptions, I was just so very happy and excited and I'd just come home at 1:45am.

Koyasu no Miko: poor victor only had 36 cents on him, so he didn't play. just watched and talked.
Koyasu no Miko: maryann played a few games of ggx, snk vs. capcom, etc. i played one bout of tekken tag with her...

Koyasu no Miko: we were all trying to decide what to do and maryann hadn't eaten so she was hungry (they'd eaten earlier in the village), so we all decided to walk back to the village to eat. ^^ it was soooooo nice! you know how i love walking about, so it was really fun to walk to the village from chinatown.
Koyasu no Miko: and we went a different way than *i* would normally go, so it was like new scenery & stuff!

Koyasu no Miko: so we ended up taking the R train downtown to the Staten Island Ferry.

Koyasu no Miko: so then we basically stood just talking for about a good 20 minutes before a ferry docked, and basically we took the ferry across to staten island, and then back.

Koyasu no Miko: we were *going* to take the R to 59th, where she'd transfer for the 4 to the Bronx, and i'd just continue to Continental.
Koyasu no Miko: but no R trains were coming, so we got on an N. no difference, same route, i'd just transfer at 59th to an R.
Koyasu no Miko: but it stopped at 57th street (one stop before 59th) and they said it was the last stop, so it was going to basically go back toward brooklyn.
Koyasu no Miko: so we took it back to times sq. and found out that the whole line (N,R,Q,W) wasn't running past 57th street... and the shuttle stops at midnight, and it was 12:15 already.
Koyasu no Miko: so we had to take the 7 train to Grand Central, where Maryann transferred for the 4, and i just kept going on to Roosevelt (transferred to the F and got out at continental at 1:10, just in time to catch the Q65A that pulled up).

Koyasu no Miko: it was 930 when we were at quizno's. it was probably around 10:30 when we got on the ferry. about 15-20 mins each way gets us to about 11-11:10...

Crawford no Koi: dinner is at most 20... amusement park is at least 20 to enter if not more... and that doesn't count paying for rides and eating... depending on what type of park it is... but anyway i get it... you had a blast

Koyasu no Miko: and i was talking with sean about how she doesn't know my name, she's really annoying to talk to past 5 minutes, and i only am friendly with her 'cause she's a good contact and is in with erica (and how could i possibly insult - even indirectly - erica?!)

Koyasu no Miko: we started to continue walking and i realized that chris had invited her to come with us. ::gag::
Koyasu no Miko: so we walked over to quiznos and she sat with us.

Koyasu no Miko: luckily, we were a big enough group that i didn't have to sit near her, really, so i could basically ignore her until toward the end... and then she was being really annoying, but i tried to hold my annoyance back so she couldn't tell, but someone must have told her that my name was 'sara' and then when she called my name it was in a horribly whiny voice, so i wished that she would have continued calling me 'sue'.

Koyasu no Miko: and sean was sitting sort of between us, so he kept looking at me like he thought she was being really stupid & annoying too, so at least that made me feel a little bit better.

Koyasu no Miko: we left quizno's and... walked over to the R train... chris, carrie & sean had to go...

Koyasu no Miko: maryann had been planning on visiting lygia & zoila before going home, but victor wanted to stay out, and so did i (of course), so she ended up cancelling with them so we could all stay out together.
Crawford no Koi: lol aww so you didn't get alone time with victor?
Koyasu no Miko: um, no. too bad, but. you know.
Koyasu no Miko: so we ended up taking the R train downtown to the Staten Island Ferry.
Koyasu no Miko: (we rode part of the way with the other 3, until we had to get off and they kept going into brooklyn)
Koyasu no Miko: so then we basically stood just talking for about a good 20 minutes before a ferry docked, and basically we took the ferry across to staten island, and then back.
Crawford no Koi: you were just taking him to the ferry or did you go check out the boardwalk
Koyasu no Miko: victor went back with us, so he had to turn around and get right back on.
Crawford no Koi: you just took the ride?
Crawford no Koi: don't you have to pay?
Koyasu no Miko: no, ferry is free.
Crawford no Koi: you didn't go to southstreet sea port?
Koyasu no Miko: no, we didn't go to the southstreet seaport, we went to the ferry and rode it over to staten island and back.

Koyasu no Miko: she likes to do a lot of stuff i do (like walk around doing nothing, etc.)

Koyasu no Miko: we were *going* to take the R to 59th, where she'd transfer for the 4 to the Bronx, and i'd just continue to Continental.
Koyasu no Miko: but no R trains were coming, so we got on an N. no difference, same route, i'd just transfer at 59th to an R.
Koyasu no Miko: but it stopped at 57th street (one stop before 59th) and they said it was the last stop, so it was going to basically go back toward brooklyn.
Koyasu no Miko: so we took it back to times sq. and found out that the whole line (N,R,Q,W) wasn't running past 57th street... and the shuttle stops at midnight, and it was 12:15 already.
Koyasu no Miko: so we had to take the 7 train to Grand Central, where Maryann transferred for the 4, and i just kept going on to Roosevelt (transferred to the F and got out at continental at 1:10, just in time to catch the Q65A that pulled up).
Crawford no Koi: wow how'd it get that late?

Crawford no Koi: you told me it was 930 when went with victor to the ferry and you took a ferry ride to and back
Koyasu no Miko: it was 930 when we were at quizno's. it was probably around 10:30 when we got on the ferry. about 15-20 mins each way gets us to about 11-11:10...
Koyasu no Miko: maybe even a bit later.
Crawford no Koi: oh ok
Koyasu no Miko: then the train ride to Times Sq. probably took at least 30 mins, and with turning around from 57th... well, yeah.
Crawford no Koi: ok...just got lost time wise
Koyasu no Miko: un, i get it
Koyasu no Miko: although we were all having fun together, sometimes i sorta got the feeling like i was being a 3rd wheel... so i mentioned it to maryann... and she was like, "no, i wouldn't *want* to be alone with him, i'm *your* friend"... so it was nice. ^^
Crawford no Koi: well makes kinda sense she was the one who said that she couldn't like victor cause he reminds her too much of her brother... besides the friend part i mean
Koyasu no Miko: yes, i know. she's a nice girl. ^^

Koyasu no Miko: but anyway, we had a nice talk on the train ride about getting all together to go to an amusement park.
Koyasu no Miko: she said, something like, "i dunno if you think this is dumb, but... do you want to try and get a group together to go to playland or something?"
Koyasu no Miko: and i said, "omg! i tried to do that last summer, but it didn't work out!"
Koyasu no Miko: "those coupons!"
Koyasu no Miko: "you have them too!"

Crawford no Koi: lol stop finding stuff to do we have to save money for cons and cosplay
Koyasu no Miko: yeah, but we can just consider it our semi-weekly uno's dinner sorta thing.
Koyasu no Miko: so then we were talking about what amusement parks are good places to go, etc.
Koyasu no Miko: it was just fun. =D
Crawford no Koi: dinner is at most 20... amusement park is at least 20 to enter if not more... and that doesn't count paying for rides and eating... depending on what type of park it is... but anyway i get it... you had a blast
Koyasu no Miko: well, we were thinking more of the all-day pass sorta thing, you know, you get a bracelet and you can go on any rides as many times as you want?
Koyasu no Miko: but yes, we had a blast. ^^
Koyasu no Miko: how come you decided not to come?
Crawford no Koi: too late notice, i hadn't seen my grandmother last week and i didn't feel like telling her at 540 that i wouldn't be coming straight here and i also knew that you wouldn't do just hanging out for two hours and i would have felt bad having to leave in the middle of everything

Crawford no Koi: if i had known earlier it would have been easier

Crawford no Koi: but you were meeting maryann at the job at 5 so you had some idea

But Metallica concert is on Tuesday with Liz and Wednesday with Angelica (weird, huh).
