day 16 - a song that you used to love but now hate

I don't think I actually hate Enter Sandman but I definitely overplayed it when I listened to the Black Album on repeat for months at a time (sorry Sharon, I know that was the beginning of the end for you)! As a result I just can't stand to hear it played as pretty much the representational Metallica song on the radio and TV shows, etc.

You know, I... don't think I ever really thought about that before? I'd just get stuck on the "heard it too many times, it's boring/irritating now" and not even think about what it is about it that made it so great at first but didn't stand the test of time.

Now I'm going to be thinking about that and will probably also never figure it out. DAMN YOU.
