...we all know how much I love stars, yes? I want these earrings so much. THEY ARE CHEETAH PRINT WOODEN STARS. But they don't have them in 5mm (4ga), dammit. WHYYYYY?! Realistically, they look like they'd fall out of my earlobe if someone breathed on them. Still, they are SO PRETTY.

Aaaaaand. This lady is absolutely crazy. $700/mo for an 90-square foot "apartment" in Manhattan's CPW. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, LADY? JUST COMMUTE. I promise, you're not really missing that much by living a 40-minute train ride away. FOR THE SAME PRICE. What you gain is the ability to relax and also masturbate without bumping your knees/head/whatever into the ceiling. (Okay, so if she's Ace -- or anti-masturbation, I guess -- then maybe that's not an issue, but still-- breathing space! No panic attacks!)

I actually know someone who lived really happily in a space that was comparable or smaller. But most of the time, crazypants.

I...wow. I'm pretty sure my dorm room is like 110 square feet. And while I've got some nice open spaces in it, and I'm really happy in here, I couldn't deal with having my bathroom crammed into this small space, too. I've got a sink and some nice under-sink storage, but I do love going down the hall and having my bathroom/shower down there and not in here.

I dunno, I definitely got the vibe from here that this was her apartment and we'd have to pry it from her from her cold dead hands. BLOCK FROM CENTRAL PARK, YOU GUYS. THERE IS NEW YORK OUTSIDE MY WINDOW.

There's also New York outside your window in the Bronx, in Brooklyn, in Queens. And I bet you could find something about five times bigger for not much more.

Speaking of beds a foot from the ceiling, when I first got into my dorm, my bed was lofted and my desk and small drawer thing was under the bed. I got up there and was all AAAAAAAHAHAHA TOO HIGH. TOO MUCH CEILING IN MY FACE. I slept on the floor with my mattress for a week and a half until they came to fix it. Now I've got my desk in front of the fan/heater and the drawers on the opposite of the room and I still have tons of under bed storage and plenty of open space.

And I mean, yeah. this is a dorm room and I don't have all of my worldly possessions with me, but I pretty much have everything I need to live off of right here. And my bathroom is not a closet. Okay, no. My entire apartment is not a closet.

No, Its a glorified closet. She probably paying $700 for rent then like $500 to store all the stuff that cant fit in her "apartment" which is stupid.
