6 degrees of separation
May. 18th, 2010 02:58 pmListening to some Chicago radio (WTMX) show online, via a link from a Chicago Blackhawks fan's blog, listening for something about Sharpie... one of the call-in guests was Melina Kanakaredes (aka Victoria from Due South)... who apparently loves Chicago?
The way things are connected never fails to amuse me.
... also the Hawks are apparently not pranking each other much this post-season. Instead they've been playing Mario Kart? Seriously, Hjalmarsson & Tazer are the best at it?
And WTF? They're sniffing smelling salts pre-game?

creepershockey fans!I'm really jealous of you Hawks fans -- there's just SO MUCH out there for you. Rangers fans are totally cheated because MSG and the owners know they don't have to work to sell out the arena/keep or get fans/etc. Sometimes it really sucks being a Rangers fan. Though I actually feel kinda right at home with Hawks fans since they've been screwed over up til recently too (what with the non-airing of home games -- I STILL can't believe they got away with doing that)!!!
I do wish our farm team was more accessible from NYC. Hartford, CT is quite a trip away from here. Especially when one is without a car. =(
But I know what you mean -- I forgot what it's like to root for a team that actually plays consistently well and has gotten so far in the playoffs!
