So many cons, so little money.

Okay, well between my last post, and this, everything for Shoujocon just fell into place. We're all definitely going. I booked a room for one night, we'll get there Friday and leave Saturday. We can't pre-register because you have to buy the 2-day pass at the door, but that shouldn't be a big deal. The only thing left to arrange is the mode of travel. My parents can't drive us, and if Joe can't either, we have several options; I think we'll end up taking the bus from Port Authority... the end stop on the route is apparently an office building next door to the hotel.
I also looked up some airfares on other "cheap airfare" sites and they're all at least $100 more that at hotwire.com. I hope it's not because they're having some sort of sale right now. If they are, I won't be able to take advantage of it unless it doesn't end for another month or two, because since one can't return a plane ticket, I won't be able to buy one until I know for sure that I'll be able to go to Yaoi-con, and I won't know that for sure until I can get someone to split room expenses with.
Speaking of which, Angelica finally gave in and said she'd go. Or maybe I should say, she finally gave up her denial. I cracked up when she finally gave in. I called her on the phone last night and started talking about going to Yaoi-con and she asked, "When is it?" And I said, "October." And she said, "Oh, okay, I'll go." Apparently, she thought it was in August. Meanwhile, the whole point of me taking advantage of this opportunity was because October is off-peak! ::sweatdrop::
She's such a baka.
So now I have to try to get someone to split a room with really quickly because I have to take advantage of hotwire's prices while they last.
Oh, the stress, the stress!
