Heero + Duo = Dean
Mar. 8th, 2006 01:41 amWatched episodes 11 through 14 with Liz just now. Some more interesting stuff -- lots of angst and possibility going on in those episodes. I like Dean even more! Sam... well, I'll just say that I don't hate him, but I take pleasure in pointing out how much he annoys me.
Liz said that her friend said that the reason the show is so good is because it was supposedly "directed for guys". As gender-biased and stereotypical as that may sound, I believe it. This is one show that I am so glad there aren't any girls (none permanent or recurring, anyway). And while the thought of "Wincest" is amusing, and definitely readable, it's definitely not my inclination as I wouldn't want to stick Dean with Sam (although "sticking" Sam with Dean...). Nevermind.
I tried to dl episodes 15 and 16 from Mininova, but it didn't seem to work. I think someone should put those episodes on CD for me, yes I do. ^^

Date: 2006-03-08 08:13 am (UTC)Btw, the person who's steering the SPN ship is Eric Kripke who was in charge of the first 3-4 seasons of the X-Files (AKA GOOOOOOOD X FILES) and has been working on this series since then actually. Part of the fun is that you can go and look up all the places and cases they mention and usually find something, its fun to go to the WB website and explore around the Supernatural section that has an interactive whee explore the Impala part. You can read Dad's diary and learn more about what happened the first year post-Mary's death and how Dad and Dean coped with things (ie-Dean was mute).
I know what you mean too about the annoying sort of tagalong female characters, this is a tale of two brothers (not even in the cesty sense) but their travels and adventures. That's all its supposed to be, no lady guests intended ^_^
