Bought tickets to SF today!

In fact, just now. I couldn't get them for any less than $260 without not being able to pick my flight times. But I'm trying to work for half a day on Thursday, so it was important to be able to pick the latest flight time available that wouldn't get me to San Francisco too late.

AA 177 JFK 10/27 6pm → SFO 10/27 9:18pm
AA 178 SFO 10/30 1:45pm → JFK 10/30 9:58pm

I haven't been online much these past two weeks and I really feel completely out of the loop. =( *sniffle* I miss everyone!!!

I just had a thought -- if anyone's interested in splitting the cost of renting a car (which would be about $150), let me know. I'd be happy to have the car to drive into San Francisco for food and such. Angelica and I can't really afford to split it just by ourselves, so if anyone else is interested, it'd be pretty cheap to split amongst a few of us. Sharon, DC, I figured since you guys were fine without one last year, you wouldn't be interested. But Angelica said I should ask anyway. =D

I'll have to think about that. I'm not sure what our exact plans will be. I do know it would be nice to be able to get to a store to pick up some food for the room. Thanks for mentioning it!

I don't know about a place to meet -- it really depends on when you arrive, and what we're doing at the time. But I'll give you my cell phone # and you can call it any time. I never turn it off (except, I guess, on planes and in the subway where there's no service). ^^

If you have an idea of where to meet, that's okay too. In fact, I can probably text message your friend's cell phone with the room number, but it won't help so much if you don't hav a key to get in. ^_~;
