Ycon 2005, here we come! ...anyone need roommates?

Yay! So happy to finally confirm that I'll be able to go to Ycon again this year! We have a room reserved, now we just need a couple of roommates. It's just me and Angelica this year, so there's space for two to four people! Our reservation is at the Clarion for three nights (Thursday through Sunday, 10/27/05 - 10/30/05). Including Angelica and me, it would be only $75 for four people, $60 for five, $50 for six.

If you need a room, I ♥ you; or if know someone who might, please forward this info to them! Thanks!

Do you want to stay with us in our room instead? 'Cause since we are staying for 3 nights, it makes more sense for us to have the room. Also, what hotel do you have your room in? If it's the Westin, maybe if we can add a night to the reservation, we can transfer the name on the reservation over to my name...?

I don't know which hotel my friend booked. I'll have to ask her. I just know that she got it for like $100/night. I will talk to her about it and get back to you. .^^

Thing is, you need it for three nights and we only need two. It would be okay for you guys to pay that extra night yourselves?

Hehe. .^^ So there's only 2 people (including you) in your group, right? Hm, would be nice to get 1 or 2 more people, I think. Of course, I've still gotta get the details from my friend about the room. I know there's only ONE bed though so people will be on the floor. *nod*

There might possibly be a third person, I'm not really sure yet. I think the room that I have reserved at the Clarion has 2 double beds (not 100% sure, but I can check on that). So it really depends on whether your reservation is at the Westin. The sooner you let me know where your reservation is, the better, because if we're not going to share rooms then I have to put out an ad quick on some MLs for roommates. ^^

Okay, I just called up my friend. She says she's got 2 nights (Fri/Sat) at the Clarion. The room has 1 king-sized bed. Does that sound okay to you? If it is, then I'll have my friend call up the hotel and ask if she can get a third night (I assume Sunday?) for you guys, but there's no guarantee on this.

How much are you paying a night for your room? Theo ne my firend has is $100/night.

I already have a reservation at the Clarion for 3 nights, so you wouldn't have to add a night to your reservation -- if you wanted to stay with us, you -- or your friend -- can just cancel her reservation. My reservation is also for $100/night (including taxes and fees), and is listed as "2 dbl beds or a king bed" and "guest prefers 2 dbl beds". So maybe we'll actually be able to get the 2 dbl beds.

Basically, it would be $50 from each of you (total) for the 2 nights.
