Good-ish non-news.

I hope I'm not stealing Maryann's thunder if she actually does make a post. She went for her interview today, and it seems like they're really interested in hiring her! The only thing holding them back from making a formal offer, it seems, is the possibility of someone who already works there getting? applying for? the full-time Assistant Manager position.

She asked if Raquel had called and they said she had called Alan, and that Alan really liked Raquel, so that if Raquel recommended her, it's a plus. I'm so happy that Raquel called. Also, I feel slightly omnipotent and very much like a puppet-master, muhahahaha... but we won't go into that.

We're hoping that the other guy doesn't get the job, so that they'll ask Maryann to do it. It would be very cool. =D

Well, I'm sure that if they don't hire her as assistant manager they'll hire her for something else, she's got the experience in that field, and has managerial talent+experience.

That's true, but the other positions they're offering are the ones that are part-time for $8/hr and for that she said she'd rather stay at the store.

But I told her she should just keep applying for other jobs anyway, until she finds out for sure, and she agreed. I'm sure she'll find something.

And yes! Thank you for the song title/artist. For some reason I can never remember it. I have a block on that song for some reason, even though I love it so much! =D
