I'm *so* tired. And that wouldn't be so bad, but I'm sleepy too. >_< On Friday, as I reported, I went out with friends to see Howl's Moving Castle. I did neglect to mention some things about the night because I was literally falling asleep at the computer while I was typing that up. (I even left some of the coding unfinished when it was posted, LOL, but I've fixed it now.)

Victor paid for my movie ticket as a belated birthday present, which was really sweet of him, and really unexpected. Chris got "mad" at Victor because he beat him to it... so Chris paid for my dinner after the movie, which was also really unexpected. ^^ It was really funny to go out to the movies (tickets were $10.25! x_x!) and dinner and not actually spend anything. Although I ended up paying for Liz 'cause she didn't have money. But at least I only spent $20 instead of the $40 it would've been.

After the movie, we went to a diner for dinner. One of the things I like about hanging out in a big group is the abundance of cross-conversations. It's really fun to kind of jump from one to another and back again. With 10 people, there was more than enough to talk about. My side of the table was mostly talking about cosplay and stuff like that. After dinner we went to B&N for an hour, then walked to Lincoln Square where we loitered until they kick you out at 1am. By that time, we'd been down to 6 people (Chris, Carrie, Tom, and Crystal had left), and around 12:30am, Danny left, and Victor left -- kind of in a huff, mostly because he was drunk and wanted to go find a bar, but the rest of us (me, Liz, Maryann and Jeremiah) were content to just hang out and talk. At 1, the four of us walked from Lincoln Square to Times Square and then went in our respective directions. Which means uptown for Jeremiah, and Liz and Maryann and I all went back to my house. We got home around 3:30 and I drove Maryann home because she needed to be able to bring the appropriate clothes with her to work the next day (a few hours later) so that we could go out on Saturday night.

I know I must have gotten back home around 4:20am. I don't know how I lasted long enough to actually post at 5am!

So On Saturday I woke up at 12:50pm; a decent 8 hours of sleep, even though I was still pretty tired. My parents, Liz, and I went out to eat, then to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith. (No spoilers.) It was pretty good; slightly lacking in plot, but pretty amusing and entertaining nonetheless. Even being a hugedroolinglustful Angelina Jolie fan, I have to admit that most of the movies she's in are pretty darn bad. However! Her characters in said movies are always really interesting/well-developed/cool. She must pick her parts for her character's role and not the plot of the movie. I think this is one of her best roles yet. Quirky and imperfect, yet decisively strong-willed and competitive. Hmmm, much like her own personality. In any case, I also commend the director/writer(s) for making such a strong female role. A weaker one would have ruined the movie, and I like the example it presents -- there were no hidden weaknesses that undermine the strength of the female character and subtly imply that despite the strength that you see, the woman will always be the weaker sex -- mentally as well as physically.

Aside from all that analytical stuff, it was a movie made for pure entertainment as it was kind of short in the plot department. But Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt -- ::droolhotdrool::

After that I went home to get ready to go to that monthly goth/dance club. This would be the last one before October and I was not going to miss it again! Maryann told me some time just before the movie, that Victor said he was going! How the hell did Victor find out about it?! ::groan::

Well, after some slightly annoying deliberation by Maryann, we went anyway. We got there pretty early -- 10:30? -- and sat down to have a couple of drinks. The music was really awesome; I'm really upset that they won't be meeting until October -- where else can I go that plays this type of music (Goth/Rock/80s/Techno/House/Industrial)? Most especially the Rock and Industrial? =(

Anyway, Eric was with Victor -- apparently he'd found out about the club last month and loved it. I still don't know how Victor found out about it (maybe from Eric), or how he knew that Maryann and I were going?! But oh, I really, really, really enjoyed it! It was so nice to have a bunch of friends there, like I'd been trying to do since I started going. But Eric says he loves it, and I told him that I'm always on for it, so I have a feeling that now at least I'll be able to go with Maryann and Eric, and possibly Victor -- or at least, if not "go with", then see them there. It's always fun if you bump into friends at a place like this. ^^

Well, we ended up leaving the club around 3am -- and getting home at 4:45am. Of course, like silly girls we stayed up to shower and chat until 5:45am. x_x; And we both had to get up less than 4 hours later in order to get ready for me to go to work. Of course, Maryann came into the city with me, and ended up hanging out all day in the store with me. ^^

On Sunday, after only 4 hours of sleep, I went to work at the store for 7 hours. I was so dead that I was being very indifferent toward pretty much anything and everything that day. Not grouchy or snappy, just indifferent. I didn't have the energy to form much of an opinion on anything. Except for the fact that I wasnted sweetened Passion Iced Tea from Starbucks, and had two Venti cups of it. =D

Sunday wasn't all that exciting or anything, but since I wasn't able to watch any episodes of Whistle since around Wednesday, I was feeling really desperate to watch more! So I started watching (somewhere between 25 and 28) at midnight, and didn't stop until the end of episode 36 at 4am! So I had almost 3 hours of sleep, but I am *so* paying for it now -- I'm finding it even more difficult to stay awake at my desk. Even writing this post isn't helping all that much.
