May. 29th, 2007 12:41 amSo I did have to go to work on Saturday, but I went to Sean's party after, which was lots and lots of fun! <3 Heh. Particularly when 5 of us were sitting playing battle-Tetris (or whatever) on our DS's (of course, mine was borrowed). AJ kicked all of our asses. Repeatedly. LOL~! Oh yeah, and Chris and the mudkip-humping! ^^; I really wish someone had taken a photo of that.
Today I didn't have to go to work, which was good because I do have a bit of a cold. =( So I just lazed about watching the first season of Saiyuki over. WOW. It is really a whole lot better with decent subtitles! Ahahaha. Kougaiji also doesn't bug me as much. I think I may actually like him this time around (even though he's such a momma's boy). And I think I understand the SanzoxGoku pairing a whole lot better now. Yeah, I think it may have pushed aside my previous preference of SanzoxHakkai, although I still like that.
I tried looking on ff.net, but all the summaries I read sounded like 14-yr old fantasies. You know I'm really itching to read fic when I actually browse through ff.net (which I think I've gone to all of 6 times). So now I'm looking for some good gen or angsty-smut fics (or a combination of good plot and angsty-smut!). Any recommendations? As long as it's Sanzo-centric or Sanzo-POV (or POV is split pretty equally the four of them), pairings don't matter (but if you know of any good SanzoxGoku, please rec!).
If only I had another day to do nothing, I'd finish the second season. Arrgh. Oh, and Angelica, would you mind lending me Reload? =D
Oh wait! I almost forgot to mention -- I watched about 5-10 minutes of one of the episodes in English. ... ... ... OMG. It was HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. And poor Kougaiji. No one could pronounce his name correctly (they kept calling him "Kugashi"), and they made him even more of a momma's boy than he already is! How they accomplished that, I don't know. But they did. And one of Sanzo's group actually sounded whiny. I don't remember who, I think I blocked it out. Geh.
And I need to go watch episode 23 over again. ♥
