osarabaAngelica's totally into the Onna! thing now, which is good, I guess. I'm not as excited about it, which is odd because shoujo is (generally) more my thing that hers, especially in comparison to Yaoicon. But whatever; maybe it's just 'cause it's in October. I just can't get all worked up about it right now. Otakon is only 79 days away (with only 11, 684 spots left, haha), and as is typical of me, I haven't started any costume work yet. My sewing machine belt still needs to be replaced, and I haven't even contemplated how I'm doing those costumes we decided on (the mushroom heartless from Kingdom Hearts).
I got a letter from Yoshi today! メール ありがとう！ Now I have a penpal to write to and use some of my stationery! LOL, I wish I'd brought some with me to work, but I'll just have to wait until I get back home.
I watched up to episode 5 of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle on Sunday -- it was sooo good! I'm really enjoying the series! There was a really funny part in one of the episodes where the tall warrior guy has to run after someone (probably Shaoran) and he says "mendoukusai!" which totally made me think of Yoshi and being in Japan, and that whole thing of not saying "mendoukusee." It really startled me to hear it and I blinked -- it was just really cute and funny; my reaction.
