Is it possible to die of boredom?

osarabaIf so, I think I would've been dead a few hours ago. So, maybe, no... it's not possible to die of boredom. Maybe one can only die of ennui? Maybe my boredom hasn't actually yet progressed to that stage where it can be considered ennui, and therefore I can't possibly die yet. Hmm. Has anyone else considered this? I think it makes a wonderful topic of conversation... just what one needs to ward off boredom. Or is it ennui?
Tonikaku, I'm at work now. No one is coming in. I think that for the 5 and a half hours I've been here, maybe 10 people have come in, in total. That's really sad. I only have $50 in the register. That's sad, too. Do you think it's because of the holiday coming up? 4th of July and all that. You know, I completely forgot that it was going to be the 4th of July so soon? Completely. I mean, I knew that Wednesday is July 4th, but not that it is the 4th of July, you know?
Gods, I'm bored. Could you guess?
I've been rebelling lately, not wanting to read any of the yummy fics that are out there. ::sigh:: I don't know why. Hopefully, I'll get back into it soon. I really do want to read them, I guess I just haven't been in the mood.
You know what I think it is? Angelica's gotten me hooked on DDR. That's practically all I can think about these days. It's so sad. ::sigh:: I didn't start playing at the arcade because I didn't want to waste money there, so I waited until Angelica got it for her Playstation... and NOW what do I do? I play it with her every so often, but now I'm wasting money at the arcade because the hard pads are so much better than the soft ones! ::wince:: Jeez. It's so not fair.
And recently, when I went out with Angelica and my friend from Junior High, we went to play pool for a while... I haven't played for quite a while, but I realized that I miss it a lot! I used to play once every week or two about 2 years ago... it was SOOOO much fun! It still is now, especially when you start calling the balls by their corresponding GW names. o.O* THAT'S lots of fun.
