doo-do-do...

I just feel like writing, but I don't know what to say.
Maryann and I went to CBGB's last night 'cause a high school friend's band was opening. Which is pretty cool. And the cover was only $3, which was even cooler. Too bad they didn't really play the type of music I like. Too much screaming for me. Very Cradle of Filth-like. But we ended up drinking and talking, and that was certainly worth it (even if the beers were $6 each - ouch!).
We left after the second band played (late 30s/early 40s playing a blend of bluesy classic rock and Nickelback-like). Now they were very good! I think that was around 9pm maybe? We walked back to St. Mark's, trying to decide what to eat when we passed a noodle shop and I knew that I wanted noodles. Of course, they were way too expensive so we took the train to Chinatown where you can get decently priced delicious noodles. I had a craving for Vietnamese, but by the time we got there (slogging -- is that a word? -- through the rain) they were closing. So we went to Penang instead. Mmmm. Was good.
Now I'm getting hungry again.
Maybe that's what my headache is from.
