In other news, my mom took me driving again today -- this time I drove up and down Utopia Parkway (from just south of Horace Harding, to just north of Northern Blvd.), in order to practice changing lanes. (I didn't get a chance to do that in Driver's Ed, five years ago.) And for some reason, although it's illegal to drive with a Learner's Permit after dark, we seem to be unable to start early enough so that 1.5 hours ends before it's dark. But then again, I get some practice with night-driving too, right? I knew, intellectually, how different it would be, but not from experience. It's weird; headlights shining in the mirror. And then, when you're counting on those headlights to indicate exactly where there are cars, a car is driving around without its lights and it bugs the hell out of you. ^^;
Anyway, it was fun driving again today. Hopefully, this will turn into a routine -- driving for about an hour and a half, every Sunday. Then I may actually get somewhere!
My new piercing's sort of sore! I'm actually impressed, I didn't expect it to be sore. ^^ Although it'll probably go away in a day or two.
