Yesterday, Liz and I went over Angelica's house to watch the Hikaru no Go VCDs that I'd made. My only DVD player is my PS2, but that doesn't support VCDs. So we watched 5 VCDs, with 3 episodes each, so 15 episodes in total. It was really great! And luckily for us, the Pro Exams arc finished on that last VCD, so we weren't left hanging.

The whole time we were there, it was snowing like crazy outside, and by the time we were ready to go at 7pm, there were at least 3-4 inches of snow on the ground, and it was still coming down. This is the first time I remember it snowing on Christmas. It was pretty.

So Liz and I went and waited by the bus stop for the bus. In the snow. For an hour. Before we finally gave in and asked our mom to pick us up. We could've stayed overnight at Angelica's, but we really wanted to get home. For one thing, it's just a matter of comfort -- it's a lot more comfortable to be at your own house, where you can let it all hang out. And for another, Angelica and I gave her our gift yesterday -- the Tekken 4 game for Playstation2 -- so we really wanted to get home to play it. So our mom picked us up at 8:30, and we all went home. Our car -- really old and problematic -- is really awesome in any case 'cause it's a heavy mini-van and has all-wheel drive, so while other cars were slipping & sliding, skidding and fish-tailing in the snow, we were just cruisin' along with no problems. ^_~

But anyway, we got home and after eating and stuff, we started playing Tekken 4. You start out with 10 characters, and you have to beat the game (in arcade mode) with different characters in order to get 9 more. (There are supposed to be 20, but it's probable that you have to beat the game in one of the other modes in order to get the last one... I wonder who it is.) Trouble is, we don't have a PS2 memory card to save any of the games we played, but we played anyway. We started around 10:30 and stopped around 4am. It was too funny -- the characters' taunts and endings are too funny to even describe! Although I was quite impressed that they left some of the dialogue in Japanese (for the Japanese charcters, at least; Heihachi, Kazuya, and Jin).

So that was lots of fun.

I want to try to get to Chinatown today, to give Eddie the Hikaru no Go VCDs that we've seen, and the SDK VCDs that I've seen, but I wonder if I'll make it? I hope I do... It really sucks that he's only there on Thursdays.

Oh! I actually created one of the pages that was missing from my B-T shrine; the discography page. I had created the "albums", "singles", and "videos" pages, but I didn't have the "discography" page that would link to them. But I finally made it. It's very plain, just a picture and the three links. I would've made it a long time ago, but I had to find a picture that I wanted to put on the page, and I kept forgetting to look for one. o.O*
