Louie’s birthday was on Thursday.

This year she didn’t do anything special, but it was fun nonetheless. We’re getting her something special for her birthday, from all of us, but it hasn’t been shipped yet, so we couldn’t give it to her then.
She, Maryann, and Lygia met up with me at Grand Central and after stopping at the store briefly, to offer some homemade fudge to Angelica and the bosses, we went over to Wendy’s (I was very hungry ‘cause I hadn’t eaten yet). We had some food, giggled, and talked for about half an hour. Of course, I took a few photos. (I can’t seem to bring myself to delete the old photos from my webspace, which means I have a few megabytes being taken up by old photos that probably aren’t even being viewed anymore because I doubt there are many people who go looking through my backlogged LJ entries, except for myself. And I have no clue where else might host my photos for free, and without pop-ups and/or broken links. Anyone have any suggestions?)
But back to the photos:

Don’t they look かわいい~?
While there, both Angelica and Liz called, so I told them we’d meet in the GCS dining concourse. Angelica took her break at 5:30, and Liz showed up shortly after that. We all just hung out there, eating Louie’s yummy fudge and chatting, etc. I took more pics:

Finally caught Liz on film!
Angelica left at 6:00 to go back to work. The rest of us stayed there, talking and doing nothing until around 7. Then we went upstairs and dropped in on Aaron. Louie and I had this plan; Aaron couldn’t refuse to have his picture taken this time because it was Louie’s birthday. We went into the store when we realized that his boss wasn’t there anymore. We stayed there talking for a bit (around 10 minutes), until a customer came in.
But we both got pics of him, yay!
Aaron, finally caught on film! (Doesn’t he look like Jason?)

After leaving Tumi, we went across the hall to our store, where Angelica was by herself ‘cause the bosses had also left. Everyone but me, Lygia, and Angelica went to the bathroom. Fifteen minutes later, Angelica closed the store and we waited for the rest of the crowd to come back. When they did, we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. Angelica and I had to go to the bathroom, so we dragged Liz back to the bathroom. (We use the bathroom in the Grand Hyatt because the bathrooms downstairs are yucky.)
Liz at the Hyatt bathroom (Isn’t her hair soooo pretty?!)
After that, the three of us left to go back to Queens. We ate dinner at the mall, and left just as they were closing.
Remember when I was complaining about wanting to get new earrings? Well, I finally gave in. after coming home from the mall, I went online and ordered some CBRs from Tribalectic. Earlier that day, I’d looked around a few sites that sell CBRs. I was specifically looking for black 18-gauge and 16-gauge CBRs for my lobes. I’d already known about Tribalectic, but I wanted to see if other places offered them. I did find one or two other places, but none as inexpensive as Tribalectic. They had niobium CBRs (black ring with silver bead: top row, middle column) in 18ga and 16ga for only $9.95 each! But in order to take advantage of free shipping, I had to get one more item, so I asked Angelica if she wanted anything. She said for me to get the dark blue CBR with hematite bead on the same page (bottom row, middle column) in a 16ga. Right now, I’m waiting for the order to be completed and shipped to me.
I hope I don’t have to wait too long; I’m really impatient for those CBRs!
