Photo requests. おれのうち。

Apparently Angelica was showing her mom the photos from my house (Lisa hasn't come to my house yet... but one day I'll get her over here!) and came across a few areas that were not included in the shots. So I've been requested (ordered?) to take more pics to show a wider range.
So without further ado, here are some more pics. Please excuse the repetition for those who've seen these already.
Well, that's all for today. When my parents', sister's, and the computer rooms are all nice and neat, I'm sure I'll take a few pics of those, too.
You know, I just realized that I never took an up-close picture of my prized posession: my Nanjo Koji cel. ::smacks self upside the head:: Well, I'll take that and post it later. o.O*
Sharon, I think that Angelica and I told you about the boiler room and the shed where our bishounen live, right? At Shoujocon? Do you think I should send a link to DC so that she, too, can see where they live? ^_~
So without further ado, here are some more pics. Please excuse the repetition for those who've seen these already.
basement: my room (you can see the stairs leading down from the dining room down to the patio just outside my window)
basement: my room (please ignore the scary yellow teletubby pillow you see there; it was a gag gift)
basement: kitchen (as you can see by the CDs on the stove, I don't use the kitchen as a kitchen... note to self: I really have to buy a sink skirt to cover up those boxes under the sink... the door at the end leads to the laundry room and stairs up to the 1st floor... it's really すごい (sugoi) having the laundry room right outside my door!)
basement: my room (the door just to the left of the duo scroll is the entrance to the boiler room, where Trowa, Youji, Takumi (from Ini-D), and Kozi (from Malice Mizer) live... the door just to the left of that leads up steps to the patio in the back... the stupid sun on the window was painted on by the previous owners... you should've seen the basement before we painted it over white... it was in pinks/greens/blues with animals all over the walls... disgusting... they had a 4-year old daughter)
1st floor: main entrance (we don't have our curtains up yet; we're still waiting for them to be delivered... I suppose I'll have to take another pic when they're finally up... and yes, that is a Buddha you see in the alcove there)
1st floor: stairs (those are the stairs that go up the 2nd floor where there's a bathroom and 3 bedrooms, my parent's, Liz's, and the smallest we use as a computer room... that door at the left leads down to the laundry room/my room)
1st floor: kitchen/dining room (this is the view of the kitchen/dining room as seen from the middle of the living room... the previous owners knocked down all the walls on the first floor... it's actually very nice, it looks a lot bigger than all the other houses because the walls aren't there to take up so much space... it really gives the whole floor a nice open feel to it... at the right side of the photo there's a door; that's a half-bath (toilet & sink only)... the door to the right of that is the one that goes down to the basement)
outside: patio (this is the view taken from the steps that go down from the dining room... note the green canopy above... and the shed where most of my bishounen live)
outside: patio door (the view of the steps and patio door which lead up to the dining room... the steps on the left lead down to my room... see the stupid sun?... that's the kitchen window up on the left... the windows below the steps on the right are the ones above my bed)

Date: 2002-10-10 12:59 pm (UTC)Yes, it's cool to finally see where everybody lives. Thanks so much for sharing all the neat pics. I'd take some of my house, but it's boring in comparison. *grin*
I can just show DC my journal tomorrow at work. She likes to look over my shoulder. Or you can email her if you want to. I'm sure she'd be happy to hear from you. We're both getting excited about the con coming up so soon!
