White ink is actually visible and... it's sort of paradoxical because it simultaneously stays whiter and crisper for longer on white skin, but is also harder to see on white skin. I'm sort of light-brown skinned (mix of SE Asian and White), so I mean to talk to my tattoo artist about how visible (in both the short-term and long-term) she thinks it'll be on my skin.
