What I've noted so far:
  1. Disabling the navbar in your own settings doesn't seem to disable the Like feature on your journal if I still have my own navbar (that is, assuming you have disabled your own navbar, I'm still seeing it on your journal).

  2. I don't see a navbar (and therefore no Like or Share features) on LJ-default entry pages (white background, standard LJ header), but I do see them on customized-style entry pages.

  3. I've had the CSS code to block repost options in my custom stylesheet since the last time they did this, but it seems like it doesn't apply to the navbar because I've still got the Like feature on the navbar, and others can still see the Like feature on their navbar when they view my page.

  4. I think the code blocks the Share feature in my own navbar on others' pages, but not the share button on others' navbar on MY entry pages. T_T

  5. At least only those you've designated as friends see the Like/Share features?

  6. Awww I just noticed that the pretty textured background of my navbar no longer exists; it's just the boring default dark grey.

If anyone has any fixes, please let me know!

In the meantime, please do not share or like or link back to my journal or any of my posts from outside of livejournal (that is, linking to my journal from elsewhere on eljay is okay). I'm happy to discuss fannish things on pretty much all other platforms, but I don't want any actual links to my journal on them. Thank you, BBs!

Hm, I don't have Like or Share on mine and I didn't do anything to change it.

Ugh, I do indeed see like and share. :/ One more reason to move over to Dreamwidth. ;)

What the macshittersons?! I've managed to avoid awareness of most of this by dint of still actually using the Olde Skool side-bar-style of home, so I don't see a navbar or anything else unless I actually click through to something without the style=mine bit. When did this asshattery show up? D:

I can still see like/share at the top of your page. D: D:
