Look, I have a thing for mohawks, all right?

1. JARED LETO. I have not done a double-take at you since you were Jordan Catalano and my teenage heart (and other things) were completely captivated by you. I also kind of like your band, or at least several of your songs. This song is not one of your best, but GODDAMN WHEN DID YOU GET SO GOOD LOOKING AGAIN? I WANT TO TOUCH YOUR PINK FUCKING MOHAWK AND SHAVED SIDES AND YOUR SUPER SKINNY JEANS AND ALSO MAYBE BITE YOUR FINGERS. ...ANYWAY.

2. SUPERNATURAL. I watched the first 3 episodes of season 6 tonight because I didn't want to be inadvertently spoiled at Wincon this weekend. Um. So.

a. They basically did what I was hoping beyond all hope they WOULD NOT do, which is make Dean into a family man. AND THEN THEY BROUGHT SAM BACK GODDAMMIT I HATE HIM AND COULDN'T HE STAY FUCKING DEAD?! AND THEN they made Sam all cold and-- either it's some sort of front (which damn, that's hot because mmmmm the angst underneath) OR it's actually true (which damn, THAT'S EVEN HOTTER BECAUSE NNNNGHHH SOCIOPATHS). EXCEPT THAT NEITHER IS HOT BECAUSE IT'S SAM AND I FUCKING HATE SAM AND WISH HE WOULD TURN INTO SOMETHING THAT FUCKING. STAYS. DEAD.

b. The camerawork is kind of throwing me for a loop because in some scenes I think it's pretty awesome and in other scenes I'm like, really? Do you even know what you're doing here? I dunno. It seems to be going from one extreme to the other.

c. Then there's Cas. I'm glad Cas is back; I really started to like him by the middle of season 5. His *finger quotes* lack of people skills *finger quotes* is kind of adorable. Well, I've only seen him in the one episode so I don't have much to say. The little nod to the nature of Cas's bond with Dean made my inner fangirl giggle. Okay, so yeah I pretty much giggled pretty loudly (my inner fangirl doesn't remember to stay "inner" too often).

d. I mean, is it just me/my speakers or is everyone growling as they speak?

e. The humor. It's kind of oddly placed? It hovers between that all-out stuff we'd get in the NOT SERIOUS AT ALL episodes and utterly nonexistent. WHO'S WRITING THIS CRAP ANYWAY? Go one way or the other: he who hesitates is lost, don't you know?

f. The preview for this week's episode looks pretty good. I hope that we actually get some sort of juicy truth revealed like the preview hints. AND THAT DEAN BREAKS UP WITH LISA AND BEN FOR GOOD. JFC I CAN'T STAND MUCH MORE OF THIS FAMILY MAN SHIT.

g. I really like Dean's hair this season. Is it just me or does it look like he's got a subtle mohawk/fauxhawk cut going? Like, in the back there's a little piece that's longer and it. just. OMG IT MAKES ME HOT OKAY. (THARD, CAN YOU DO YOUR HAIR THAT WAY? PLEASE? OMG I THINK I'D JUST DIE.)

h. Flashpoint's young idiot (ahahah, coincidentally also named Sam) -- played by David Paetkau -- is in the first two episodes. He does not talk very much. I found this very amusing for no actual good reason. <--- I think I wrote this wrong because I meant that the actor is in the episodes, not the character. LOL?

3. I dunno, I think I had something else to say but the SPN ranting took a lot out of me. WINCON. OMG ARE WE REALLY DOING THIS THIS WEEKEND?!

I tolerate Sam's exsistance. I never like nor hate him.

Its weird I have no real emotional attachment to any of the character. Its why I can't/don't read fic for SPN that often if ever.

ETA: 30 Seconds to Mars has some of the most consistently amazing videos I have ever seen.

Are you still watching the show? Seems like a lot of people are done with it. I only ever really watched for Dean (and for the funny episodes), so I'm okay with the show continuing. Though I do kind of wish they could move away from the Heaven/Hell plotline, but I recognize how weird it would be to just drop it that way.

See the thing is I only really watched season 1, part of 3, 4 and now 5. To be honest I was watching for JP because I loved him in Gilmore Girls but I've grown to love Dean more. I want this to be the last season but somehow I feel like CW isn't going to let it go.

1. OMG did you really go to Wincon? Kelly found the webpage for it and we both ooh-ed and aah-ed over it for a while and lamented the fact that we couldn't go.

3. WTF Really wanted to see that Veritas episode as well, but apparently am living in the Bermuda Triangle of SN episodes? The Veritas episode never aired for me and I am extremely frustrated. :| Downloading time.

I did indeed go to Wincon and it was AWESOMESAUCE! I didn't go to many panels (haha, only the Inception one, pretty much), but I had an amazing time hanging out with people. And drinking. Lots and lots of drinking. LOL, I did see a bunch of people with tinfoil hats at one point but I was possibly hungover and therefore even more confused.

I was confused that ep 4 was not the Veritas episode, so I'm with you in the Bermuda Triangle. Not sure what that's all about. Maybe it'll air later?

I MISS YOU TOO~~~!!! You guys, we actually have a fold-out couch for you to sleep on at our new place! No more lame deflating air mattress! <3
