Top Five: Cosplay

JSYK, fic answers from the "Top Five" meme prompts will take slightly longer to fill (as they usually require more time for me to sit staring up at my ceiling with a blank look on my face, sometimes interspersed with furious typing). BUT THEY WILL BE ANSWERED, I PROMISE!

from sharona1x2: Five characters you'd like to cosplay, but haven't yet.

1. Alexia Tarrabotti from the Parasol Protectorate (a dark fantasy/steampunk series) series! Which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you haven't read this and you like any of the following -- vampires, werewolves, steampunk, Victorian England, romance, DRY humor, tea, parasols, hats, strong female protagonists -- you ABSOLUTELY MUST!
   
   
2. Saiunkoku Monogatari. Either Shuurei or Kijin (the guy who wears a mask all the time)! This was one of the last anime series I watched. Jeez, it's been a long time. =(
   
   
3. Samurai Deeper Kyo. I would pretty much not mind cosplaying almost anyone from SDK! Kyo (his real body, or in Kyo-in-Kyoshirou's body), Yuya, Okuni, Benitora, Akari, Akira! I should finish reading the manga finally...
   
   
   
   ...Wow, this is harder than I thought! I usually only cosplay from video games (and sometimes anime), but since I haven't played/watched any in so long...
   
   
   
   
4. Kingdom Hearts again? I know I've cosplayed Sora twice before, but I'd love to do one of his outfits that I haven't done... or really, I'd like for Square Enix to do something interesting with him so I can cosplay a new!Sora. BECAUSE I LOVE SORA SO MUCH!
   
   
5. Something from Tank Girl. Clearly it would have to be something not super revealing (which probably means there isn't a whole lot to choose from), but I'd love to cosplay from it.
   
   × BONUS NOTE: I thought I'd never get around to cosplaying from Drakengard because it's a lesser-known video game that got really mixed reviews, but that I LOVE TO DEATH. But Maryann, Liz and I did that at Otakon 2009 and IT WAS BRILLIANT! Liz even got her photo (as the Golem) in the Otakon 2010 program! I almost feel like that was THE BIG ONE that I wouldn't get to do, and now that I've done that (and I got to do exactly what the girl in my icon is doing), I'm pretty happy.

Nice answers! If you ever cosplay a Samurai Deeper Kyo character, be sure it's for a con I'm at. I want to see that. ♥

I remember how much you like SDK too!!!

I was so sad that there didn't seem to be much of a fandom for it because I really could've gotten into a couple pairings. Man, I wanted to write a highschool!AU for that series SO BADLY!

YES OMG! Liz and I had plans to cosplay Alexia & Ivy this year at Dragon*Con, but the timing just didn't work out. So we're planning this for next year, at D*C or anywhere else, really.
