Note to self: how FITting.

Apparently, FIT has a museum! I didn't know this! (And now, I think back on what I've missed all this time!)

Current exhibitions are Arbiters of Style: Women at the Forefront of Fashion (May 21 to November 8, 2008) and Gothic: Dark Glamour (September 5, 2008 through February 21, 2009).

Hours are: 12-8pm (T-F), 10am-5pm (Sat). Closed Sundays, Mondays, and legal holidays.

Also, admission to the exhibitions is free!

I think I'd like to possibly make a visit this Saturday before the anime fundraiser event. Let me know if you'd like to join me.

I'd actually be very interested in those FIT exhibits. Unfortunately Saturday is not a good day for me to go out, but I definitely have to try to visit before those exhibits close!

And a hearty laugh to number 25. Clearly I am not everything I seem.

I don't know if I'll end up making it on Saturday, but even if I do, I doubt I'll balk at going again -- part of the enjoyment of this sort of exhibition is discussion with someone else who's also interested!

So just let me know when you're able to go and I will latch myself onto you tag along. I'd actually be interested in where our perspectives on fashion and style overlap! Then, we can draw Venn diagrams! =D [/nerd]

And, I'm sure you have hidden talents. After all, look at your own answer to #26! ^_~

Now, I didn't say whether that number was embarrassingly high or embarrassingly low, although I do suspect a number of people on my friends list don't have much in the way of standards. >_<

That's good to know about FIT, though-- I'll see when I have a day free to make a trip!
