She had the surgery yesterday and was back home a few hours later. She's doing alright, but I know that it's going to be a long healing process.
Apparently, the doctor wanted to rush the surgery so that she had enough time to heal before the Spain study abroad. Which is pretty cool of him considering he can be an ass sometimes (he's my mom's doctor from her broken arm deal). So hopefully she'll be healed enough that it'll work out.
