One of our Nerd bretheren has left us.
Sep. 19th, 2007 11:22 amJuliet flew back to Chicago some time this morning. It was really fun hanging out with her over the summer, so I'm going to be sad she's gone since we don't stay in touch too much while she's away. =(
In other news, going home and putting my foot up and just lounging in bed last night was definitely the best thing to do. I stupidly ran a little on it yesterday morning and it was painful for the rest of the day. Let's hope today's better. It also had a beneficial side effect, which is that I actually fell asleep at a decent time. I think I was out by around 11:30pm. Which is a far cry from the 2:30am and 3am from the previous nights. It was hard to get out of bed this morning, but I certainly feel more awake here at work.
Oh! I'm really excited for the new Buck-Tick album! It came out yesterday in Japan and I was already notified by CDJapan that it's on its way! I would generally, of course, be happy for new B-T music, but the last album (Juu-san kai wa gekkou) wasn't completely my cup of tea, unfortunately. I liked it, but I haven't listened to it since the first couple weeks after it came out and maybe a brief stint a couple months later when I was in a slightly more goth-y mood.
_maldorora's description of the new album has made me really excited for it -- she has compared it to the early 90s album Darker Than Darkness. It's certainly not my favorite album of theirs, but it's much more my style than 13kai and I'm hoping for some Six/Nine influences as well, since I'd die over anything that sounds like Six/Nine. <333!!!!
Also, why is there something to do every weekend from now until November? T_T
I'm beginning to feel like Chris. ^^;
