home! home! home!
Aug. 26th, 2009 09:59 pmSo I'm bouncing around ff.net searching high and low for good Laby fic and I come across Miss Selah who writes short one-shots that are odd/quirky/slightly-dark J/S (Forsake the Rest is particularly good). Which, in fact, is kind of like what I tend to write, myself. So yeah, I'm scrolling through her list and what do I come across?!
Beetlejuice fic!
And yes, what I've read so far is good. And in that same interestingly odd/quirky/slightly-dark voice of hers.
Look at Jareth up there. He's all jealous.

Okay, on another note -- I randomly am in the mood for Buck-Tick and The Cure, and also something EBM-like, so I scanned through my BT CDs, trying to decide what to listen to -- mostly thinking it would be from either their 97BT99 or SexyStreamLiner eras because they were pretty industrial-sounding then. But my eyes alit on the Schaft album I bought YEARS AND YEARS ago at Book-Off... but apparently never listened to. (Schaft was the side-project band of B-T's Imai Hisashi, Soft Ballet's Fujii Maki, and contributors like Raymond Watts and apparently someone from Luna Sea.)
IT WAS FUCKING EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I LOVE YOU IMAI! <3! Though it's only freaking 7 songs long and at least half instrumental. SIGH. I've now moved on to B-T's live album from the SexyStreamLiner tour and YES, IMAI - ROCK YOUR THEREMIN! ATSUSHI, YOUR VOICE IS TEH SEX. THANK YOU.
That is all.
