Don't think.
Jan. 4th, 2003 01:55 amA few days ago I noticed that SDK episode 25 was available for download, but only via Bit Torrent. I don't feel like downloading yet another program, so I decided I'd wait and see if they (Saikou Fansubs) would change it over to a regular right-click-to-save-as .avi. And they have. Of course, now episode 26 (the final episode!) is up and it's a Bit Torrent download, too. Ah well, no biggie; I'll just wait a week and check again.
Otherwise, my father's in the hospital again for Charcot Foot, caused, to some extent, by his Diabetes. He was admitted on Thursday, and sometime Thursday night after 9pm, they discovered that he also has a blood clot in his leg. Normally, this would be treated with a blood thinner, but my father has Diabetic Retinopathy, which rules out using a blood thinner. Instead, they've put a filter in his vein so that if/when the blood clot dislodges, it won't travel to his heart or lungs and kill him. Which, incidentally, is the way my Great-Aunt died in 1993.
To top this all off, my mother's going on a 2-week business trip starting Monday. And we're trying to do a rush-job of a last will & testament (and find someone to come to the hospital to witness/notarize it) for my father over the weekend... just in case.
This is all really freaky and it sucks.
