I just don't understand myself sometimes.

When I was going to school and I didn't have to get up so early, I would get tired at midnight and be unable to stay up past 12:30 unless I was really awake that day. But now that I'm working and I have to get up at 6am at the latest in order to get out of the house at 6:45, I can't seem to fall asleep until at least 1am. Grrr! It's not that I'm not tired -- I am! But I just have this to do, that to do... watch a little TV/anime, read a book, whatever... and I just can't seem to get settled down until 1. It's horrible! Especially this morning, walking around the office like a zombie, practically with my eyes rolled up in the back of my head!

I went into the ladies' bathroom and splashed cold water on my face, but that only works for a few minutes. I'm drinking a Diet Coke, but that doesn't usually work for me. I was carrying a few files across the floor, and as you know, that passes by James's office. He usually isn't here at this hour, so I only looked in his office out of the corner of my eye, at the last second before I passed it... and what do you know? He's in there! He smiled at me, but I kept going because I didn't realize he was in there until I was already past. (You know how that works?) Not to mention, I was (and am) still feeling zombie-like, so I probably had a zombie-look on my face. ::groan:: So then he called out, "Hi!" And I called out "Hi!" back. I hope he doesn't think I ignored him on purpose.

Then, as I continued on my way to the filing cabinets I had this stupid cheesy grin on my face. Sara-chan no baka baka baka baka!!

Oh! I can't believe I forgot to mention that I'm going to get a tattoo tomorrow! Yay! It's going to be 5 kanji down the outside of my left leg (just above the ankle) that says:

shinigami no koibito

I'll have to post a photo of it as soon as it's done (and, of course, when I find my camera)
