My teeth hurt...
Jun. 10th, 2001 11:39 pm...'cause my wisdom teeth are cutting again. Hidoi. And I guess I couldn't resist complaining here in my 'journal. Hey, I do it everywhere else, I might as well do it in my 'journal too!
Tonikaku... Louie! I want you to come to Otakon with me & Angelica & Liz! You'd better go about convincing your parents! Can you just imagine how much fun it would be?! LOL. Angelica told me that she spent the train ride home convincing you to come to Otakon with us. ^_~
To those who don't know (and who probably couldn't care less)... Yesterday we were supposed to meet some people from the WK-Yaoi ML to go on an anime shopping trip of NYC. Well, only one -- that's right, count 'em ONE -- person showed up! The other four of us were me, Liz, Angelica & Louie. And we all know each other, so that was nothing special. (You guys know what I mean.) So, that was kinda disappointing -- I wanted to meet other WK/YAOI-crazed fangirls. I even made a sign, which I promptly gave to Louie. ("WK-YAOI Anime Shopping Trip" -- Which looked GREAT on her, btw!) We had a great time, even if it wasn't as big -- or diverse -- a group as I'd anticipated.
But the point of this was that... in Chinatown, in one of the comic/anime stores I said "Midori desu, ne?" to Angelica in reference to the Nataku Gundam model I was looking at. And someone who worked there said "Your Jap-English is..." and I said "What? Bad?" I wasn't mad or anything -- I just really wanted to know what he thought, but he just shook his head and made these motions to forget about it. But it's been annoying me all day today! At times when I wasn't thinking about anything in particular, it just popped back in and I got all pissed off! I want to know what he was going to say! Even if he was going to say something like "Your Jap-English sucks and you should never speak it again!" Or "Your Jap-English is immensely insulting!"
Kyaaa! It's so frustrating! I've decided that knowing is better than forever wondering.

Okay, well, that's it. I'm all written out. There's nothing interesting to say... ::sigh:: I guess I'll go to bed now. In which case...
