Oh yeah. One of the things I wanted to mention earlier was that on Saturday I couldn't figure out why my legs hurt so much! It was really baffling me, I didn't strain them or twist my ankle or anything like that, but my legs were just kind of muscle-sore and I couldn't figure out why.

But I finally realized the reason -- because I wore heels on Friday! LOL. I bought a pair of 1.5" heels to wear at work and ended up wearing them home because my converses, and more importantly, my socks were soaked from the morning downpour. Hahaha. Isn't that funny? I really don't wear heels much, and I certainly don't wear 2"+ heels (although I really wish I could, sometimes), so it's no wonder my legs were aching.

It probably wouldn't have bothered me if I hadn't worn them home. In the office, I'm mostly at my desk, and it's all carpeted, which is a lot easier to walk on than concrete.

The shoes were a desperate purchase, mostly, because my previous pair had completely fallen apart. I have a wide foot, and these were a pair of silver-sequinned, hand-woven shoes meant for a not-wide foot. So, I'm not exactly surprised, if inconvenienced. The pair that I bought has the same kind of look, except that it's a bronzish-gold color with some burgundy embroidery and some bronzish-gold sequins. Backless with a 1.5" wedge-like heel.

The only problem with this is that the bronzish-gold color barely matches anything I wear. So yeah, why did I buy it? I thought it'd go a little better with some stuff than it ended up doing, but the pair was $20; I'm not going to complain. But I did go and find another pair of shoes -- black, pointy-toed, 1.5" stiletto heel, with a thin strap going across like a MaryJane, by Chinese Laundry. They're technically a size too big, but they still fit comfortably. Also $20. Heh.

And that's it for me. No more girly-shoe shopping for like, at least 6 months. LOL.
