The whole day I'd been using the computer, but my site didn't seem to be working, but it must have just been reloading the site from memory, because when my sister got home today she told me that she saw it up yesterday!

So I went to check it, but it was still reloading the old page (page not found), so I opened AOL and accessed it from there, and it worked! (After which, of course, it worked in IE.) So then I tried to check my email, but it wasn't working. So I called up aplus.net tech support (which is one of the things I really like about aplus vs. Yahoo!; it actually has live tech support!

And speaking of which, the tech support guy that helped me was all flirty and cute. ^^ He started asking me what my site was about, and after my brief moment of complete and utter panic about the YAOI stuff and OMG-is-fanfiction-against-their-TOS-rules?!, I told him about "anime/Japanese animation". He asked if it had an "age limit" and for a few seconds I thought, "YAOI? Age limit? Hell yeah!" But then I realized he was referring to most of the anime/porn that's available in the US, and I said, No, that there's a lot more out there that is a wider range that hasn't been released in the US, etc.

Then he asked how I got into it, and I explained watching anime on TV, then finding out that there was a lot edited out of what they show on US TV, and so looking for the original Japanese with English subtitles, and how after finding it, I just became obsessed, etc.

His only personal reference to anime was that Gorillaz (or something) song. He asked if I knew it, and I replied that I did, but that I couldn't remember how it went, nor the name of the song. Then he started singing some of it, and I went, "Oh yeah! It's that... 'sunshine in a bag' song." And he went, "Yeah, that's it!" And he started humming/singing it while he was working on my email account access problem. ^^;

So, yeah. He was cute. He asked where I live, I said New York. I asked where he was, he said San Diego. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. Not that it really matters 'cause it's not like I'm ever going to talk to him again, but still... it would've been nice to put a name to the voice that invited me up to San Diego for the weekend. ^_~
