day 03 - a song that makes you happy

osarabaDear god, you'd think this meme is like asking me for the meaning of life or something! I keep scouring my brain for like, the ultimate representation of the day's theme, hahaha. In trying to think of a song for today, I have come to realize that most of the songs I really, really, really like...? Aren't ones that give me a "happy" feeling.
Going through my iPhone and the bands I usually listen to, the song that stood out most in my mind was Warp 11's Belt Buckle Tractor Beam. Oddly enough(?)... it has (humorous?) implications of dubcon...? Ahem. Yes, well, I can't seem to help myself, or my sense of humor. Clearly my mind is a scary place.
Fave line: i got a belt buckle tractor beam / it's a chick-magnet machine
But then! Elvis Presley's Clambake suddenly popped into my head! This song makes me smile without fail (just like the movie) -- it's completely fluffy and ridiculous and I have nostalgic happy memories of watching this (and other Elvis movies) with my father when I was a child. I asked for the DVD of the movie a couple years ago for my birthday (and have even watched it twice since then).
Fave line: clambake, gonna have a clambake
