Tonight, tonight.

Hmm. Busy tonight. Liz, Louie, Angelica and I are going to go see Resident Evil. I never played the game, but Angelica says it's stupid. Then again, maybe she's just spoiled by Tomb Raider. I hope the movie is good. I don't think I can take another bomb, like QOTD. ::shudder::
Liz has decided to buy me my 3rd cartilage piercing tonight 'cause she didn't give me a X-mas/New Year's/etc. gift either. So I'll be getting my ear pierced later on tonight. Again. That'll bring the total up to 10. O_O I didn't realize I had that many. And 7 of them are on one ear. ::laughs at self:: I don't think I would have gotten another one so soon, but today's the Ides of March, which, actually, happens to be the one-year anniversary of when I got my first cartilage piercing. Can you imagine? Only one year ago, I had practically virgin ears! (Well, not exactly, considering the one hole-per-lobe that I did have, actually had to be pierced twice.) But can you believe that I will have gotten eight piercings in one year?! @.@ Orooooo…
Oh! Book of the Moment:

Oh! Book of the Moment:
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien (F)SLIGHTitty bitty SPOILER WARNING
Surprisingly, the second book in the LOTR series is muuuuuuch better! More action, mostly. While it doesn't read like most of the SF/F I usually like, in comparison with The Fellowship of the Ring it's like comparing The Pledge with Terminator. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration. But sometimes it feels that way anyway. FOTR ends a bit before Boromir's death, and TT picks up right after Frodo and Sam have sailed away (still before Boromir dies). After following Strider, Gimli and Legolas (who are chasing after Merry and Pippin), it switches over to Merry and Pippin's points of view. Nothing like the boring wasteland the beginning of the first book was! If they do as good a job with the second part of the movie trilogy as they did with the first part (in comparison with the book), then I think we're in for a good show. Then again, I'm only on page 55, so I could be jumping the gun. But overall, I'm intrigued for now, and looking forward to reading more.
