i am shocked and i seethe
Dec. 1st, 2010 03:06 pmI can't actually seem to stop listening to Golgotha Tenement Blues by Machines of Loving Grace, from The Crow soundtrack. I've listened to that album a lot over the years, though it's never held my attention as it did the first time I listened to it... except right now? Every song on there is awesome, and Golgotha Tenement Blues by MoLG, and Color Me Once by Violent Femmes in particular are just. so. perfect.
MoLG were only together from 1989 to 1997, so I've only got three albums to listen to, and most of it isn't quite what I want to hear; isn't quite as dark as Golgotha Tenement Blues. Which, sigh.
Hahaha, I didn't realize til just now, but Machines of Loving Grace also have a song (Richest Junkie Still Alive) on the Hackers soundtrack, whaaaat! Argh, I know I'm the only one who cares about this and I'm basically just babbling to myself. UGH. And I should be listening to Rammstein, really, because the concert is in only 1.5 weeks away... and ohmygod it's only 1.5 weeks away! I'm so excited!!!!!
CAN WE HURRY UP AND HAVE A REVIVAL OF DARK-INDUSTRIAL MUSIC PLEASE?!
