Trying to get back into the swing of things.

We came back from Yaoicon Sunday night... it was really such an awesome con. Not because of any special programming or anything like that. In fact, I think if I were there just for con events, I'd have been a bit disappointed (like last year, it was fun, but it certainly wasn't my favorite con). But this year, we really got to hang out with all of our con/GW fandom friends, for which I was so happy! I know that the GW fandom is alive and thriving in the LJ communities, and I'm really going to have to get back into things and maybe get back into it through LJ since I'm having trouble getting back into it through fic-reading on the MLs. I just added jana1x2x1 to my friends list since her ID was the easiest to guess, but I'll have to see if any of our other con friends have LJ IDs that I can add.

I'm not making any promises about putting up a con report 'cause just look what happened with the promised Otakon and Shoujocon con reports, but I'm certainly going to try and write some brief comments and definitely put up some pictures 'cause they are certainly worth a thousand words.
