I have really gotten hooked on FFX. Really badly. I mean, really badly. Liz and I played til all hours of the night on Friday, then again on Saturday. And the sad part is – we’re having fun just battling and building up our characters. I doubt we’ve completed even 1/8 of the game, but there we are, battling for four hours, just to build up the characters and get more Spheres and Gil. o.O* I really have to get a recommendation from someone who’s into RPGs as to something that’s similar to FFX.

My Torrid order was to be delivered today, and I figured it would be delivered between 1 and 3pm, while I’m at work. Surprisingly, though, it was delivered between 8 and 10am, while I was still asleep; my father answered the door. So I got to try on the clothes before rushing out to work. This top fits perfectly and I really love how it looks, although I thought it came with the black undershirt, but it didn’t! Fortunately, I only paid $12.50 for it (instead of $34) and I happen to have a black undershirt. This top fits almost perfectly (a teeny bit too big, but I’m going to make a few stitches to pull it a bit tighter) and I adore how it looks. This top fits fine, but I think I would’ve preferred if it was one size larger. This top fits fine, looks good, but is my least favorite. This top also fits fine, but I’m disappointed in the material – it looks better in the picture than it is in real life. Luckily, I only paid $3.99 for that one. The sorta-maryjanes I ordered are a size too large, but I think they didn’t come in my exact size, so I’ll either have to stuff the toes or make due; at least it has an ankle strap, which should help a bit. The capris that I ordered came in the wrong size. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to exchange them since clearance items are generally final sale, but I called Torrid’s customer service and they were amazingly accommodating! They said they’d exchange it for the right size – they placed the order, and gave me an RA number for the return of the ones I received, they pay for shipping and everything. When they receive the return, they’ll credit my card. I’ve never had such an easy time with any other customer service before! (Although I usually don’t have too many problems, unlike a few other people I could mention off the top of my head, who talk to customer service representatives like they’re just looking for a fight. ::coughAngelica,hermom,mymom,Yvettecough::

In any case, I was running late to work because I wanted to stop at the post office because I just knew that something I’d won on ebay – camouflage bondage pants with convertible wide-to-flared leg – would be waiting there for me since it wasn’t there on Thursday. So I called Fay and made an excuse, saying I’d be about ½ hour late. She laughed and said, that I’m never late and the one day I am, she would have to leave as soon as I got there because guess who’s in labor? Yvette. Which was really good news, all things considered.

But when I got to work, Fay told me that Adrian (Yvette’s husband) had arrived at the hospital, so there was no need for her to rush over, which meant that she ended up staying until 5:30. I had been so looking forward to being alone for most of the day. Ah well. In any case, the latest news was that she’d dilated 2cm, which really isn’t close to doing the final push, but is much better than her previous pregnancy where she hadn’t dilated at all. Tomorrow morning I open the store, and Fay said she’d call me to let me know when she’d be able to come in and what’s going on. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that Yvette gives birth tonight or tomorrow.
