I know lots of stuff has happened in the past few days, but I'm drawing a complete blank here. I'll just start writing and see what I remember.

On Friday, the three of us went to the village to get another piercing for Angelica, who was recently feeling the urge for another piercing. This time, she got her tragus pierced. This is a pic of her ear: Angelica's tragus piercing. It's sooo adorable~! Now she matches her mom! (Lisa has a tragus piercing in her left ear, too.) And I think that Angelica will be pretty satisfied with this piercing for quite a while (which is good) 'cause it's actually hurting and bothering her. ^^;

Hmmm... on Sunday, I finally got to go to Roosevelt Field to visit the Pacific Sunwear there, to buy some much-needed clothes. I ended up getting a very nice jacket. It's that sort of fleece that feels a bit styrofoamy, if you know what I mean; it has black arms, shoulders and the stretchy part that goes around the bottom of the jacket, with light gray through the rest of the jacket (sort of like a baseball tee), with a white piping separating the black & gray. The jacket was $13, on sale from $40! I also got a pair of some really nice jeans ($45) -- they have that sort of vintage/faded look, but not to excess ('cause that invariably looks baka), and a pair of my standard Dickies: black double-knee work-pants ($30).

Liz got a pair of really nice 'boarding pants: made of that soft swooshy fabric with the bright-colored netting on the inside, by Trans Nine, in a dark gray. I was so jealous 'cause they look awesome, feel great, but they didn't have it in my size. So I went to the PacSun site to see if they had it (did I mention that those were on sale for $20?), but they only had Navy left in my size, so I just decided I'd get it anyway, even though the dark gray is what I really wanted. ::pout::

Yesterday. I picked up a small applesauce-carrotcake from the Little Pie Company that's in the dining concourse of GCS. Liz and I bought my mom 6 pairs of earrings 'cause she really likes getting earrings for her birthday. I think it sort of became a tradition 'cause when I was younger I would get her earrings every year 'cause I didn't really know what else to get her, and I didn't have a lot of money to spend.

When we got home (around 4:30), we had quite a bit of time to waste before she finally got home (around 8:30), and although I was cooking dinner, that doesn't really occupy a lot of time. So for some reason, Liz started playing with mom's makeup and then since she came out looking like a doll, she wanted to dress up. ^^; And the only things we really have to dress up with are my 9th and 12th grade prom dresses. So then I wanted to dress up too. So she wore my 9th grade prom dress, and I wore my 12th grade prom dress. ^^;

I had too much fun twirling in the kitchen. And Liz had fun taking pics of my "cleavage" (which is actually well-covered by the dress, sorry folks), and which I thought came out very nicely for the lack of the "view"... ::thinks:: ...looks like an interesting LJ icon...

And here's a cute pic of my mom, caught when she came in the door by the raving lunatic (Liz) with bright red lipstick on. And a pic of the yummy cake, with a makeshift candle on it (I totally forgot to buy candles -- so this is the scented candle we have in the living room.) Yes, I know, that's pretty bad -- but it made for a pretty good laugh! ^_~

Oh, and as promised to [livejournal.com profile] gokumew2, I've listened to the SDK Kyousouka album, and I think it's great, actually! I don't think there are any songs I don't like, and I have to say, I think my favorite two songs are Konishi-san's (as Kyou) 「こらん」, and Midorikawa-san's PAX VOBISCUM! (But you know, when PAX came on, at first I thought it was Toshihiko-san singing! They sound so similar sometimes, and other times they sound completely different...) After those two, I really like Toshihiko-san's 「きすぎかにょうのこと」, Tomokazu-san's 「ぜっそう」, Ogata-san's 「はなどき」, and Hoshi-san's 「あしかび」. Koyasu-sama's song is nice, and he sings it in his typical way, but it's just not as nice as those other ones; I can't help feeling a bit cheated/disappointed. ::sigh:: Oh! And I forgot to mention that I love Yui-san's song, 「あおすすき」-- she's actually one of my favorite female seiyuu!
