Mom's coming home tomorrow.
Jan. 15th, 2003 10:36 pmI know I had lots more to write, especially about the last few days but now I don't know -- I'm sort of spinning in place.
Angelica's grandmother brought her back a new stereo/CD player from her trip to Florida, so Angelica gave me her old stereo with 3-CD changer & dual cassette deck. Which was completely nice of her and it completely surprised me that she didn't try to charge me for it. >_< I put it in my bookcase in place of the stereo that I used to have there (which was only radio and dual cassette deck, with a line-in that I used to plug into my portable discman when I felt like listening to a CD). It's a lot bigger than my previous stereo, and it's a generic brand, so it feels really weird in my room because although I'm a sucker for a sale, I only buy brand-name electronics 'cause I know they'll last. And then I gave my stereo to Liz for her room, so now she'll have to use the line-in for CDs. Ah, hand-me-downs. Aren't they great?
