It's been too long.

Hmmm... let's see. Liz has gotten a cell phone (kawaii!). I start work at the UN again on Monday (nooooooo!). I've been busy, busy, busy. Angelica finally found out how much her mom's tattooer-guy friend (Chris) can do my kanji tattoo for: $50, as opposed to Crazy Fantasy's $70, so I guess I'll go with him. Liz wants me to get it on my birthday, although I don't know if I can really pull that off since I'll be working at the UN on that day. But I definitely have to get it sometime this month in order to give it time to heal before Shoujocon!

Yesterday, I left work early (4:15) to go shopping a little with Liz and Angelica. Tried on highwater pants... they're cute and nice, but in the end, not my style. ::sigh:: I really have to get something for work! The clothes I have for work are mostly for winter... I need to get something a bit lighter. In any case, we ended up going to Sears in Queens. I bought a pair of shoes for work (which is one of the things I had been planning to do, the surprise was that I actually found them)! Not to mention that they were on sale, and I ended up being paid $0.50 to buy them! (They were on sale for $9.75, I gave a new $10 bill, the cashier thought it was a $20 and gave me $10.25 back.) What a steal! ::looks guilty:: Well, I just couldn't go back... I just couldn't. Anyway, I also bought a long pinstripe skirt, which I'm very happy with... it's actually really long, the way that I like my skirts. And I had been prepared to shell out the $38 for it, when I found out at the register that it was half price, so I got it for $19. That was certainly a productive shopping trip!

Randomly, lately I've been spending money I don't have. Bidding on things left and right; ebay, Yahoo! Japan... it's getting rediculous. It's all Angelica's fault... she got me into bidding fever, I don't know how, but she did. I just have to stop looking at auctions, and instead, just put up some of my own. But first, I have to go find my scanner software to reinstall...

Oh! I finally got the Myst Trilogy (Myst, Riven, Exile) in the mail and I've been playing Myst over in my free time ( ofwhich, admittedly, I don't have much). But it's fun.

In addition to that, I finally gave in and downloaded WinMX, so I've been downloading things practically non-stop. I've been in a real weird mood (musically) lately. I've been listening to Zetsuai non-stop at GCS. In my discman, I have Buck-Tick. On my computer at home I've been listening to Pearl Jam and Prodigy. Weird mix, huh? It's like.... Techno-Grunge? >_

You are Heavy Metal!

Angry, sad, and disillusioned, you are Heavy Metal. You are the embodiment of the darkness of the human heart. Your main themes are sadness, anger, and hopelessness. You are frequently misunderstood by others and many link you to devil worship. However, those willing to look through the shell of darkness and anger find you to be very intelligant, poetic, and artistic. Too bad your inclination to look for the beauty in darkness and your general attitude of frustration with humanity as a whole tends to send most people running for the nearest exit. But despite that, you wouldn't have it any other way.

Angelica's sure to have a field day with this one, and I suspect her result won't be so pleasing to me. Proabably Back Stabber if she goes for the "arch-enemy" route, or if she's more truthful, she'll probably get the Fair-Weather Friend.

Okay, I admit it! It's the best one of the choices! As an odd mix of Geek, Goth, and Goody Two-Shoes, the only one that fits all of me and my odd quirks is the Outsider.
