I feel like I've been on a deserted island or something -- out of touch since I've not been reading or posting in LJ for months. You have to update me on what con appearances you're making this year so I know when I will be able to see you again! Especially you, Sharon -- I miss you! ^^

I'll definitely be at Otakon. I should be doing pre-reg any day now. I've got my hotel booked.

I'm going to try for Yaoi Con, if I can afford it. With Jay and I going to Japan at the end of this month, money will be a little tight for a while. I should be able to make it, though. *starts saving pennies*

I've got the Otakon hotel booked also (Radisson again this year -- they have awesomely big rooms, which is important when you're trying to squeeze about 6 people into a room with only 2 double beds and 6+ bags of costume-filled luggage). And we also have the Yaoicon room booked too, so we're pretty definitely going to that one also. ^^ Sooo looking forward to seeing you again!

I completely forgot that you guys were going to Japan! ::sniff:: I am SOOOO jealous! Well, I will of course be looking forward to your posts when you come back. And I *know* you're going on a serious scouting mission over there. But if you just happen to see any J-Rock t-shirts when you're over there (I'm not asking you to look, mind -- just saying if you bump into a clothing rack or something), I'd appreciate it if you kept your eye out for a size XL of any Buck-Tick shirt you see.

(I'm sorry, I normally wouldn't ask, but I've been getting a bit desperate lately. Besides, this is just if you happen to bump into a clothing rack. Like I said.) ^^;

For Otakon, we're going to be at the Holiday Inn. The Days Inn was already sold out. DC will be there, along with me and Jay.

Actually, one of my biggest worries is that we don't get a lot of shopping time in Tokyo. We have about an hour the night we arrive. After that, they have our time pretty well scheduled.

I will do my best to see if I can find a shirt, but can you send me some images of what to look for? I have no idea what they look like, or what their name looks like in Japanese. I may have to write it down on a card. Just don't expect anything for certain, okay?

I'm not going to try to get clothing for me. I'm sure they don't even make clothes in size 2XL!

But like I said (and I really mean this!), it's just if you happen to be in a store where they might have band shirts, or if you pass a store, etc. I don't want you to feel like you have to go out of your way to look for me, and I don't want you to feel guilty if you don't even have a chance to look. I'm just hoping for some sort of serendipity thing, like if you pass a store where there's a shirt in the window, then you might recognize it and take advantage of the opportunity. But by no means do I expect you to put yourself out. I'm not expecting anything at all! I just REALLY appreciate your willingness to keep it in mind.

Well, I'll tell you a secret. If I can't find one now, I do have a friend who will be working in Japan in the summer. Maybe she could help. Again, I can't promise, but it may be an option... *hugs*
