SO, THIS HAPPENED TONIGHT.

WHILE I WAS FUCKING ASLEEP, GODDAMMIT. What's funny is that Brendon's tweet actually woke me up.... but I thought either I was dreaming or that he clearly didn't mean what I thought he meant and I went back to sleep. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.







ALL I'M SAYING IS THAT MY EXPECTATIONS FOR THE CENTRAL PARK SHOW IN SEPTEMBER ARE HIGHER THAN EVER BEFORE OKAY.

ETA: I don't think there's actually any way I could possibly love Spencer Smith more (NSFW).

...well. Maybe if he got some tattoos.

SERIOUSLY! I mean, this is all awesome and hilarious though certainly not the raciest thing a band has ever done. But like, it's THEM. I always kind of think of them indulgently, they're so young, and not all that hardcore or anything....

Also, part of it is the fact that THE INTERNETS EXPLODED like, within minutes of this happening! It was all, BDEN GOT NAKED OMG PPL, PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!

I really miss hearing about Brendon's antics--I used to follow all of the dudes from Panic, FOB, MCR, a few others, on Twitter...now just a couple. And before the Big Friending Meme I didn't have anyone added that even liked them D: so this is awesome, because I totally miss hearing about them/talking about them, seeing pics, etc.

Did he used to strip a lot on stage? I've seen one or two pics of him with his shirt off but that's it? What other antics did he used to do? I'm pretty new into bandom (and really only PATD), even though I was a sort of drive-by fan of their first album back in 2006.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, though, because ahahaha who knows when this obsession will die down. I'm hoping at the very least I'll be able to keep it going til their concert in September! =D

No, I've never seen him stripping before, although I loved the pics of him and Pete Wentz bowling with their shirts off and heaving the balls down the lanes.

I've never seen them live, though I saw Fall Out Boy in 2008. I'm not really a concert person (I don't even like live music/performances, generally) but they are very exciting! I wasn't able to get any pictures, because the venue didn't ~allow~ cameras and my phone camera suuuucked, but I hope you're able to get some! I haven't even heard their new album, though, because I have a growing suspicion that I'll hate it. (I tried to listen to the new MCR album and haaaated the first few songs so much I got pissed off and put something else on.)

Oh hmm, well the new PATD album is alt-rock with heavy 80s/new wave influences.... or at least the songs that I actually like are those. There are a couple of slower songs that I just took out of the playlist and don't listen to at all. I really can't blame you, I'm really hoping their next album is a little more (modern) rock and less pop, but I'm worried about that considering how much Bden is a fan of pop.

Well, we'll see. =D
