slings & arrows season 1

just finished season one of slings & arrows. oh god, it is absolutely the most amazingly funny stuff!

I absolutely DIED watching that scene where Geoffrey is being interviewed by basil... AND Oliver. I had to pause it, rewind it, and replay it like, a million times! I just couldn't stop laughing so hard I couldn't hear what they were actually saying.

even though it's 4am and having just finished season 1, this is a good place to stop-- I want to watch more so badly!!! my mind is still twitching and giggling over the ridiculousness of it.

also, what is Paul gross's prediliction for dead mentors that come back to haunt him and are absolutely hilarious and possessed of wicked senses of humor?

I love love LOVE seeing PG play a (slightly) crazy person. he just does WEIRD so darn well!

Geoffrey is a fascinating character and I can't wait to see what sort of mischief he gets up to -- and what sort of brilliance he inspires -- in seasons 2 and 3.

You are hooked - that's awesome. Crazy!Geoffrey is a lot of fun. I remember the interview of course!

I also breezed through that show in a couple of days. It seems to be the way to do it. :P I really have to rewatch some of it, it's brilliant! Enjoy. :)

"FAAARDLESSS!" LOL, I loved that interview with Basil (and Oliver).
And man, you are so much stronger than me - I couldn't stop watching after S1 and went through all eps in almost one sitting ;)

Geoffrey is so much love and PG is amazing in the role, isn't he?
And Darren! Heeee.

Hope you'll enjoy the other seasons just as much!

I couldn't stop watching until I didn't understand what was being said, then I took a nap. And then I watched the last two eps, LOL.
It's interesting how the show seems to cause the same reaction in most everyone.
Really don't get why it wasn't more successful, it's one of the best shows I've ever seen.

And it actually made me appreciate PG as an actor even more. Not like I thought that he wasn't a good actor, but when he describes that scene from The Tempest in the first ep or when he tries to explain to stoned!Ophelia what the role is about, that just blew me away!
And the humor, heeeeee! I've rarely laughed so much during anything!
